Russia, Iran’s Mullahs Deepen Ties to Crush Ukraine: Why Is Biden Administration Silent?

by Majid Rafizadeh, GATESTONE  •  October 22, 2022

  • In August 2015, Obama spelled out what his deal would accomplish. It is worth a look at it with the benefit of hindsight….
  • What is striking is that just about everything turned out to be exactly the opposite.
  • A report by Iran’s state-controlled Afkar News bears the title, “American Soil Is Now Within the Range of Iranian Bombs.”

Four Out of Five Israeli Jurists Agree: Fraud and Breach of Trust Must Be Removed from the Criminal Code

By David Israel, JEWISH PRESS 20.10.22

Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrives for a court hearing in his trial at the District Court in Jerusalem, May 11, 2022.

On Wednesday, I reported that according to MK Bezalel Smotrich, “fraud” and “breach of trust” should not be on the books as criminal offenses, because they are “fluid and undefined,” and the biases of the police and prosecution set the goalposts for these alleged crimes.

The item regarding those two offenses was a tiny part of a complex and erudite list of amendments to the country’s justice system which I presented and analyzed (Media Ignore Smotrich’s Plan to Repair the Judicial System, Calling It a Plot to Exonerate Netanyahu).

In an exclusive interview on News12, Amit Segal, possibly the most influential right-leaning (some say right-winger) in Israel’s mainstream media, asked the woman who followed former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett through thick and thin for more than a decade Ayelet Shaked, “Let’s talk about Naftali Bennett, OK? Is your relationship the same as it used to be? Are you still Siamese twins like you were over the past decade?”

The Knesset does not need to vote on international agreements made by Israel – including the contentious maritime deal with Lebanon, Supreme Court President Esther Hayut ruled on Thursday.

Speaking during a High Court of Justice hearing on four appeals against the deal reached with Lebanon last week, Hayut noted that the government’s regulations do not require the cabinet to present every international agreement to the Knesset. Among the appellants were the Kohelet Policy Forum, the Lavi Organization and MK Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Lapid slams ‘antisemitic’ UN report accusing Israel of violating international law

PM says not all criticism of Israel is due to prejudice, but ‘biased’ document part of investigation into 11-day war with Hamas last year is ‘written by antisemites’

By TOI STAFF

Prime Minister Yair Lapid on Friday morning slammed a United Nations report accusing Israel of violating international law, as part of an ongoing inquiry into alleged rights abuses in Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip following last year’s 11-day fight between Israel and the Hamas terror group.

“Precisely because I was not prime minister at the time of Operation ‘Guardian of the Walls,’ I feel obliged to emphasize: The UN report on the operation is biased, false, inciting, and blatantly unbalanced,” Lapid said on Twitter, referencing the 2021 conflict.

Behind the anti-Bibi camp’s vilification of Ben-Gvir – opinion

Yair Lapid’s chance of preventing Benjamin Netanyahu from winning the Israeli elections hinges on the Arab parties crossing the threshold. To charm Arab voters, he’s vilifying Itamar Ben-Gvir.

With each passing day ahead of the fast-approaching November 1 Knesset elections, the rhetoric against opposition leader and Likud Party chairman Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu increases in volume and vitriol. Gossip disguised as investigative reportage keeps cropping up about the former prime minister vying to return to the premiership.

A need for strong religious Zionist political representation

For many Israelis, the role of the religious Zionism is narrowly conceived as being solely related to issues of land and the military response to our enemies but it is so much more than that.

A few weeks ago, an important event was played out to great fanfare when Zionists from around the world descended on Basel to celebrate 125 years since the First Zionist Congress where the Basel Platform was released, which set out the goals of the modern Zionist movement.

For religious Zionists, this was, of course, an important event, but the platform and its goals laid out in 1897 were neither new, unique nor ground-breaking.

Why this election is a defining moment for Israel, how it’s run, what it stands for

Like the past four rounds, Nov. 1 is largely a referendum on Netanyahu — but with a new element, the rise of a far-right party bent on remaking Israel’s governance and orientation

At a press conference on Tuesday, Bezalel Smotrich, the leader of the far-right Religious Zionism party — which is soaring in the polls ahead of the elections in less than two weeks — unveiled a program designed, he said, to heal Israel’s “sick” judicial system.

Obama Holdovers Allowed the Chinese Communist Party’s Subversion of America: Alex Newman

Joshua Phillips,  CROSSROADS

CCP’s Role in America.  WATCH HERE

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has established police offices on American soil, and this is a continuation of other programs the regime has been pushing to extend its tyrannical policies beyond its borders. According to Alex Newman, author and award-winning international journalist, much of this exported abuse has been allowed to happen through Obama holdovers

Who Denies Election Results?

There is nothing “unprecedented” about challenging election results. And for Democrats, there’s nothing unprecedented in trying to manipulate them.<
>
By

A Democratic myth has arisen that Donald Trump’s denial of the accuracy of the 2020 vote was “unprecedented.”

Unfortunately, the history of U.S. elections is often a story of both legitimate and illegitimate election denialism.

The 1800, 1824, 1876, and 1960 elections were all understandably questioned. In some of these cases, a partisan House of Representatives decided the winner.

The United Nations needs to be reimagined and reformed

One of the most troubling ongoing crimes against humanity is the “discriminatory detention” and “serious human rights violations” committed by the Chinese Communist government against its Muslim Uighur population. Interviews find credible reports of food deprivation, rape, forcible medical interventions, sleep deprivation, forced labor and brainwashing.

Netanyahu’s Strategy for achieving 61 seats

The last thing Benjamin Netanyahu wants is for voters to start focusing on his political partners in Religious Zionism and the Haredi parties,

By Anshel Pfeffer, HAARETZ

Benjamin Netanyahu’s political allies are acting as if they have already won the election.

First it was Shas leader Arye Dery, who, in a radio interview two weeks ago, was asked how under the terms of his plea bargain (for tax evasion) he could be a minister in the next government. Dery angrily responded that if the High Court of Justice dared to intervene, the Netanyahu government would pass an “overriding clause” and bypass the courts.
