INTO THE FRAY: Replacing RBG – Delinquent Democrats deserve no quarter

By MARTIN SHERMAN

There is a bitter & infuriating irony in the fact that it was the Democrats themselves, who committed the very transgressions they endeavored to attribute to their Republican adversaries

… it is necessary for a prince, wishing to hold his own, to know how to do wrong…he need not make himself uneasy at incurring a reproach for those vices without which the state can only be saved with difficulty, for if everything is considered carefully, it will be found that something which looks like virtue, if followed, would be his ruin; whilst something else, which looks like vice, yet followed brings him security and prosperity –Nicolo Machiavelli (1469-1527), The Prince, Ch. XV.

Politics is the art of the possibleA statesman…must wait until he hears the steps of God sounding through events; then leap up and grasp the hem of his garment.–Otto von Bismarck (1815–1898).

A widespread network of volunteers in ultra-Orthodox areas has reportedly been secretly treating thousands of coronavirus patients in their homes for months, as an alternative to increasingly overcrowded hospitals, without authorities’ knowledge.

The initiative began in anti-Zionist Haredi sects that wanted to avoid using Israeli hospitals, but has spread to the entire community as hospitals come closer to being overwhelmed, and their staff overworked, Channel 12 reported Sunday evening.

Closing Israel’s Political Circus

By Victor Rosenthal

Today the State of Israel is squeezed between a public health emergency and political paralysis. All we’re missing is a security crisis. We’d better hope we don’t get one.

In the past few days the number of new Coronavirus cases seems to have decreased, due to the lockdown that was instituted before the holidays. But since the load on the healthcare system lags the new cases by a few weeks, it is now stretched to the breaking point. And we haven’t seen the full impact of the Sukkot holiday and especially Simchat Torah, which was yesterday. Now it is necessary to start returning children to school so that their parents can work; one hopes that this can be done without setting off another wave of the disease, as happened before.

Why Cancer is Called a Silent Killer

by Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY   10.11.2020

Cancer has been called a silent killer because it kills its victims gradually without causing serious or alarming symptoms in the early stages. Cancer is not the only silent killer disease. High blood pressure, diabetes, coronary artery disease, even osteoporosis are considered silent killers because their early warning signs are disguised and diffuse, subtle symptoms that are often ignored until it is too late. So, programs of early detection have been instituted to oppose silent killers.

What about the body politic?

Wikipedia explains, “The modern understanding of the concept means a body politic comprises all the people in a particular country considered as a single group forming what we know as a nation.”

The UK’s envoy to the World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) has condemned mass coronavirus lockdowns, slamming the “ghastly global catastrophe” caused by crashing the world economy.

Dr. David Nabarro from the W.H.O. appealed to world leaders on Saturday, telling them to stop “using lockdowns as your primary control method” of the coronavirus.

He claimed that the only thing lockdowns achieved was poverty – with no mention of the potential lives saved.

GOP Candidate Laura Loomer: Don’t Lump Proud Boys into Racist, Violent, Anti-Semitic Groups Like Black Lives Matter

By Jim Hoft, GATEWAY INSTITUTE

Guest post by GOP Congressional Candidate Laura Loomer and conservative journalist Milo Yiannopolis

In December 1773, political protesters at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston dumped three hundred and forty-two barrels of tea into the harbor. This act of rebellion against British tyranny and taxation became known as the Boston Tea Party. It served to unite American patriots and paved the way for independence.

Today’s mischievous patriotic warriors share affinities with the protesters of 1773, though the tyranny they resist is ideological rather than monarchical. The Proud Boys, whose members describe themselves as “Western chauvinists,” is a male drinking club that resists political correctness, cancel culture and progressive Marxism.

‘Israel is a cyber superpower, the potential is endless’

National Cyber Directorate personnel spend every waking hour warding off the wide array of cyberattacks launched at Israel on all levels by terrorist groups, hackers, and malicious state actors. NCD chief Yigal Unna: Cyber threats to Israel only expected to grow.

Walking into the Tel Aviv office of Israel National Cyber Directorate Head Yigal Unna, you immediately notice a very specific memento – a weighted plaque with a golden plate that he was awarded by his counterparts in the United Arab Emirates. Unna was part of the historic delegation that traveled to Abu Dhabi last month after the landmark peace deal between Israel and the UAE was announced, and the plaque sheds light on the deep cyber and technological ties between the two countries.

“The potential vis-à-vis the UAE is endless,” he told Israel Hayom. “We have the knowledge, tools, and capabilities that can offer the issues they’re dealing with the best solutions in the world. In terms of cybersecurity, Israel is one of the most protected countries in the world. We want them to be as protected as we are.”

France Cracks Down on Everyone to Avoid Singling Out Islamic Terrorism

By Michael Curtis, AMER THINKER

On September 2, 2020 a trial, postponed because of COVID-19, opened in Paris concerning those alleged to have been involved in the deadly attack in 2015 on Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical weekly magazine.  Besides recounting the gruesome account of the details of terrorist activity, the trial implicitly invokes the conflict in France between freedom of speech and freedom of thought and religion and hate speech in the context of terrorist activity that has caused deaths of innocent people.  Freedom of conscience like freedom of speech is protected by the 1789 Declaration of Human and Civil Rights and by the Constitution.  In France, as in all democratic countries, free communication of ideas and opinions is vital.  However, the law also prohibits hate speech, and laws protect individuals and groups from being defamed or insulted concerning identification with ethnic, national, racial, religious, sexual, gender orientations.  Inherent in the present French issue is whether blasphemy, specifically against Islam, is a crime.

Regeneron: The pharma company behind the ‘miracle’ treatment that Trump claims cured his COVID-19

The president’s glowing testimony boosted its shares but put Regeneron in an awkward position

When Donald Trump hosted senior executives from 10 pharmaceutical companies at the White House in March to discuss the coronavirus, he was particularly keen to hear the views of a man he affectionately called “Lenny”.“Lenny” was Len Schleifer, at one point Trump’s occasional golf buddy, and the chief executive of Regeneron, a biotech company that has been thrust into the spotlight after the president claimed its COVID-19 drug cured his disease and can do the same for millions of others.

Scientists Push for Herd Immunity, Not ‘Devastating’ Lockdowns

By Jason Devaney, JEWISH VOICE

Scientists from three top schools argue that building up herd immunity among the population while keeping others safe via “Focused Protection” is how society should deal with the pandemic, not lockdowns.

Dr. Martin Kulldorff of Harvard, Dr. Sunetra Gupta of Oxford, and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford are all experts in infectious diseases and public health. They met recently in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, and penned what they call “The Great Barrington Declaration,” which offers an alternative approach to managing the COVID-19 crisis.

Arguing that the lockdowns “are producing devastating effects on short- and long-term public health,” they said more harm than good is happening. “Lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings, and deteriorating mental health” are among the impacts on society, they wrote.

Where is compassion for the millions who have suffered harm from lockdowns?

By Bill Rice, Jr., AM THINKER

I’m sure many Americans are growing tired of being labeled “insensitive” or “uncaring” or lacking compassion because we are perceived as not caring about “at-risk” people who might contract the coronavirus. Let’s talk about “compassion for our fellow man.”

Where’s the compassion for the single mom who is increasingly struggling to purchase diapers or baby formula for her children? Where’s the compassion for the victims of child abuse, which is no doubt spiking due to the economic slowdown?

Where’s the compassion for those who have committed suicide, or attempted suicide or will do either in coming months and years?

Thanks to Trump, China’s Huawei Is Dying

by Gordon G. Chang, GATESTONE INSTITUTE  •  October 10, 2020

  • Vice President Biden may say he will be tougher on China than Trump, but his supporters have signaled that he will not. Max Baucus, who served as ambassador to China in the Obama years, predicted that, with a Biden win, there would be a “reset” in U.S.-China relations.
  • So, expect chip companies to lobby a President Biden to restart the flow of chips to Huawei Technologies. The sound of a pen gliding over the signature line on a waiver is music to the ears of one Shenzhen-based threat to the United States—as well as its masters in Beijing.

3 biggest lies about COVID-19 have all been exposed: But here’s why globalist powerbrokers can’t let it die

By Leo Hohmann

Since February, the U.S. media has been pounding Americans with non-stop reporting about COVID-19 coronavirus.

Eight months later, the data shows everything the media said about the virus was false. Yet, those posing as “journalists” continue to repeat the lies from February and March as if they are facts rooted in their quest to “follow the science.”

Every one of the BIG THREE lies seems designed to promote panic and an irrational response to the actual threat.

Anyone who even suggests that maybe the governments of the world have been overreacting to a virus that kills at about the same rate as the flu has been immediately shot down as stupid and not worth listening to.

The Captain of Operation Warp Speed

By Allysia Finley, WALL STREET JOURNAL  10-9-20

If Covid-19 is a once-in-a-century pandemic, the timing could be a lot worse. A lockdown would have been far more burdensome before the internet made it easier to work, meet and shop at home. And thanks to other technological breakthroughs, vaccines may be universally available as early as next fall.

Past vaccines have taken a decade or longer to develop, and more than half over the past 20 years have failed during clinical trials. But four vaccine candidates have entered the last phase of clinical trials before approval by the Food and Drug Administration. Technological breakthroughs that were already in progress got a boost from a bureaucratic one in May, when the Trump administration launched “Operation Warp Speed.” The initiative organized government agencies and private companies around the goal of developing, manufacturing and distributing hundreds of millions of vaccine doses with initial doses available by early 2021.

As Boris Johnson Announces Britain’s ‘Great Reset’, Were the Covid ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ Right All Along?

By Neil Clark , RT News   October 8, 2020

The UK Prime Minister’s remote speech to his party conference saw him dismiss the idea of returning to normality. Is he using Covid-19 to follow the World Economic Forum’s ‘Great Reset’ agenda, as many have warned?

It’s not really about public health or a virus. They have another agenda.’ That’s what the so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ have been saying since March, when the first British lockdowns were imposed and our lives were turned upside down.

Those ‘conspiracy theorists’ were denounced, as always, as ‘cranks’ and ‘flat-Earthers’ but here we are in October, and, let’s face it, there is absolutely no sign, despite very low numbers of deaths ‘with’ Coronavirus, that we are returning to anything like normal. In fact, in his keynote speech yesterday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson specifically ruled out a return to normal, not even with a vaccine.
