Some people are calling for the President to name a special counsel to investigate Biden’s possible crimes here; but I got to thinking — Even if he did this, and ended up controlling the presidency AND control of both houses of Congress AND of the US Supreme Court, the “Masters of the Universe” would continue to convince a near majority of Americans that “Bad Orange Man” was lying, that it was all a “conspiracy theory”, and that they needed, more than ever, to completely destroy our country and our history.
As it stands, enough undecided or disillusioned Democrat voters have probably believed Bobulinski’s testimony, and changed their votes because of it, to make a significant difference in swing states. That is more significant in today’s political world, than any special counsel.
With undertones of Isaiah, my wife told me a joke she heard this morning:
“I met Big Foot this morning, but nobody would believe him.”
