The next national election will be contentious. Given that Democrats have literally lost their minds over the last one, they seem to be following a disastrous move to the left that will place them in a mental institution. There is no doubt that Democrats, especially the new socialists (e.g., the Squad) are overcoming the old warn down Dems like Pelosi and Schumer. They rant and rant a new secular socialist government with all vestiges of Judeo-Christianity removed. Blame all the white males for everything they deem wrong in America. Our forefathers who founded this great country with a great freedom loving Constitution would certainly roll their eyes and turn over in their graves.

Not many people are aware of the backdoor election scheme that the Socialists Democrats have been planning and pushing on the America voters. It is called the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and Mail-In Voting.

I think the USA today is facing a crisis matched only by those that took place at the time of the Civil War and the period of the Great Depression and WWII. Those events led to big changes in the nature of the Republic, and I see that happening again. Radical change is coming. But what form will it take?   A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about the French Revolution. I suppose I was “triggered” by the rhetoric coming from the Left in the US, and especially old friends who seemed to think that if the coming election did not go the way they hoped, they would support (they are in general too old to participate in) a violent change of the government. I made two main points: 1) that revolutions are often bloody beyond belief, and 2) the ones who come out on top are usually not the ones with the most liberal ideas, but those that are the most ruthless and brutal in the use of force.

Having first burst onto the ‘protest scene’ in Zuccotti Park by pretending to just want to practice Yoga in the fresh air of a New York City park until Glenn Beck and Canada Free Press exposed them, OWS is back—this time as the Democrat Cavalry to “lay siege” to the White House between Sept. 17 and Nov. 3.

President Trump’s recent actions indicate the time may be very close where the Deep State and the Obama gang might finally have to face the music.

On Friday we reported that President Trump spoke to workers at a Whirlpool factory in Clyde, Ohio, to tout his efforts to restore America’s manufacturing base.  During the speech Trump also spoke about his work to reform prescription drug pricing by the pharmaceutical industry.

While speaking about reducing drug prices by cutting out the middlemen, Trump dropped this line saying,  “So, I have a lot of enemies out there.  This might be the last time you’ll see me for awhile.”

This was a very unusual and purposeful statement that he made.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday tapped Elliott Abrams, a longtime foreign policy hawk, as the administration’s special envoy on Iran. Abrams will replace Brian Hook, who stepped down last week.

Abrams currently serves as the US special Venezuela envoy, a role he is expected to retain.

The Trumpian grip on the Republican Party slackened ever so slightly this past week.  Kris Kobach’s loss in the Kansas Senate primary was a setback for immigration hardliners in what should have been a banner year in fortress America.

The coronavirus gave President Trump an excuse to bar — really bar, not just gesture toward — foreign travel to the U.S., which he did.  But the effect will be ephemeral, fading when a vaccine is developed or herd immunity takes hold.

Kobach, a champion of stricter immigration controls, was defeated by Rep. Roger Marshall, a sock puppet of moneyed national Republican groups.  With Kobach’s serial failure to win an election, and the boat racing of Jeff Sessions’s bid to retake his Senate seat thanks to the president’s personal grudge, populists are back on their heels.  The famed border wall remains incomplete in the twilight of Trump’s first term.  Two reliable votes on border security have, in a twist of depressive humor, been banned from emigrating to Washington.  Curt Mills reports: “[A] clear effect of the dual defeat of Kobach and Sessions, beyond depriving immigration hawks of sentinels in the Senate, will be to (relatively) moderate the likely immigration policy of the 2024 Republican primary.”

China’s one-party communist regime has played the West since China’s professed opening of its economy to global trade and investments. It wants to replace the current rules-based international system with one dominated by China’s authoritarian model. To that end, the regime is deftly exploiting multilateral institutions from the World Trade Organization to the World Health Organization to the United Nations itself.

Thus, China has managed to get away with retaining a “developing country” status within the World Trade Organization, which gives it unfair preferences. China has the second largest Gross Domestic Product in the world, surpassed only by the United States. It does not deserve any preferential treatment. But China still gets it.
