Antisemitism Rears Its Head in Canada at Palestinian Rally

T. Belman. When everyone was rejecting Trump’s “Muslim ban” in immigration, I warned everyone, including Jews, that Muslims are the most antisemetic peoples in the world and that increased Muslim immigration would result in increased antisemetism. Nobody, except Trump and his supporters, cared.

Recent polls in the US and Canada show a dramatic increase in antisemetic incidents. When I read such polls, I always wonder the origin of such incidents. Not only is that never reported but it is probably racist to ask the question.

by Tarek Fatah, The Toronto Sun

A July 4 pro-Palestinian rally in the Canadian city of Mississauga featured the all-too-familiar chant, “Palestine is our country / The Jews are our dogs.”

On Saturday, July 4, Mississauga’s Celebration Square witnessed a protest by Palestinian Canadians against the planned annexation of the West Bank into Israel proper.

The organizer of this event wrote: “As Canadians, we need to condemn this illegal annexation and condemn Trudeau’s support of Israel, as well as show our support for Palestine and demand justice for it’s (sic) people. Palestinian or not, this is a human rights issue and we all need to come together to stand against it.”

But far from marching “as Canadians” for a “human rights issue,” the protestors could barely conceal their hatred of Jews and their clear rejection of Canada as their country.

Tired of fighting: The first front and the second front

To learn to deal with terror and protect our citizens, stop criticizing Israel and realize that we must never get tired of winning.Op-ed.

By Howard Rotberg , INN  09/07/20

Terror in Jerusalem

The first front in the war against western civilization is Israel and the second front is the U.S.

On both fronts, but right now mostly in the U.S., we have been witnessing an amazing appeasement of evil by politicians, media and professors and even some Judges. Whether it is the threat from the Islamists, an international menace, or the fascists and communists now threatening U.S. domestic freedoms, peace and security, it is sad to see how the elites give up in the face of violent protests and communist propaganda.

We see, almost every day, concessions granted to violent mobs under the aegis of Antifa or Black Lives Matter. In an age where American schools and universities (and some instructors in Israeli universities) mis-teach their students to hate America and Israel, two of the most moral nations on earth, perhaps the West is losing its desire to fight for liberty and freedom.

Kanye West pulverizes the Democrats

By Monica Showalter, AMERICAN THINKER

Kanye West says it was God’s choice, not his, to run for president against Joe Biden and President Trump.

At first glance, it looks like the height of ingratitude to President Trump, who was pretty kind to Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian, for their idiosyncratic support of him.

Now that Kanye has spoken to Forbes magazine, it’s pretty obvious that Trump has little to do with this whole shadowbox campaign. Democrats are ones who are getting the kick in the teeth, not Trump.

Here’s how deadly it was for Democrats in this must-read interview from Forbes:

ANALYSIS: How Israel Again Disrupted Iran’s Nuclear Program

Tehran admits series of mysterious explosions destroyed advanced and sensitive equipment

By Yochanan Visser, ISRAEL TODAY JULY 8, 2020

Netanyahu explains Iran nuclear threat, and says Israel will act against it.

PHOTO: In 2018, Netanyahu let the world know that Israel knew everything Iran was up to, and that the Jewish state would act alone if necessary.

Last week, Israel Today reported on a mysterious blast at a secret Iranian facility in Khojir, twenty kilometers east of Tehran.

It later appeared Iran had been working on the development of long-range ballistic missiles or even intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM’s) at Khojir and that this facility was the target of what seemed to be a new cyber attack.

An American weapons expert said, based on the images she reviewed and that showed a huge orange fireball, that the explosion was in a factory that produces ballistic liquid-fuel missiles.

Understanding the collapse of liberal Zionism

Peter Beinart claimed to speak for Jewish critics of Israel. Now he wants to replace it with a binational state, leaving Jews defenseless. Is anyone really surprised?

By Jonathan S. Tobin, jns

(July 8, 2020 / JNS) There’s a reason why most Israelis find it difficult to listen patiently to lectures from liberal American Jews. For Israelis, their country is a real place filled with real people and perplexing dilemmas that have no easy solutions. But for all too many American Jews, Israel is a dreamland—a place for intellectual tourism where we can project our own insecurities and anxieties on the Jewish state while expressing our moral superiority over the lesser beings who live there and lack our wisdom.

Which brings us to the problem of Peter Beinart.

Beinart, the former editor of The New Republic and columnist for The Atlantic, sought to carve out a place for himself as the leading liberal critic of Israel with his 2012 book The Crisis of Zionism. The book was as spectacularly ignorant as it was arrogant in its refusal to acknowledge the reality of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

Jew-hatred Then and Now

by Steve Kramer

Jew-hatred (politely termed antisemitism) has returned to the US and the West, jolting some Jews but befuddling others who fail to recognize the phenomenon. We baby boomers grew up in era of acceptance of the Jew community. But this ancient hatred has reverted to the mean as the shock of the Holocaust has receded and Israel has become a powerful nation.

Even more Jew-hatred can be expected in the near future, now that the last Holocaust survivors are dying and its deniers becoming more outspoken. A disturbing phenomenon is the many organizations which include Jew-hatred with their efforts to radically change America and the West in general, following the doctrine of intersectionality: the conglomeration of many progressive goals, such as environmentalism and gender fluidity, with Jew-hatred. Adding to our apprehension is the disturbing trend of liberal Jewish organizations’ identification with some of the worst offending organizations. (see Appendix)

Interesting Times

By Victor Rosenthal

It’s been an interesting week for Israelis, mostly in the bad sense of the word.

The news about the application of civilian law (not “annexation”) to parts of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley is that there is no news. Whatever Netanyahu is planning, if anything, is a secret. Unlike many “secrets” in this country (e.g., the contents of police investigations of Netanyahu), there are no leaks. Naturally, the European Union, the American Reform Movement, the Palestinian Authority, and others continue to react to what hasn’t happened in ways ranging from alarm to death threats. Meanwhile, nothing is still nothing.

A somewhat bright (and loud) spot is a series of explosions and fires in Iran, almost one a day, some in locations critical to its nuclear and missile programs. Did Israel have anything to do with them? Who knows? There are highly speculative reports from various sources that mention everything from cyberattacks, to local regime opponents, to F-35s. Maybe the US is doing it? Regardless, it’s wonderful to wake up to reports of advanced centrifuges wrecked and missile factories burning.

New Iraqi PM Is “Good News” for America and the Middle East

by Gary C. Gambill, ME FORUM June 25, 2020

Mustafa al-Kadhimi was chosen as prime minister by Iraq’s parliament after five months of deadlock.

Amatzia Baram, emeritus professor of history and director of the Centre for Iraq Studies at the University of Haifa, spoke to participants in a May 15 Middle East Forum webinar (video) about the promising future of Iraq’s new prime minister.

“I am a bearer of good news,” Baram declared at the outset, explaining that on May 7 the Iraqi parliament elected Mustafa al-Kadhimi as the new prime minister, a man who is simultaneously “best for Iraq … for America … [and] for peace in the Middle East.” Kadhimi previously served as head of the Iraq Memory Foundation, which documented the crimes of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein; as a journalist for the U.S.-based publication Al-Monitor; and most recently as head of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, the “equivalent of the American FBI,” where he earned widespread respect from all quarters in Iraq.

Pandemic politics in America and Israel

While American conservatives consider COVID-19 restrictions an infringement on their freedom, Israelis of the same political bent believe that abiding by regulations is a civic duty.

By Ruthie Blum, ISRAEL HAYOM 07-08-2020

Nothing better illustrates Thomas Mann’s famous statement that “everything is politics” than the response of opposing ideological camps to the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

This makes sense. The global COVID-19 crisis affects two fundamental aspects of the human condition. Yes, health and finances affect us all and are a source of obsession for many. It is no wonder then that the first fights surrounding the spread of the highly contagious disease – a novel strain of an existing virus – centered on its point of origin.

Indeed, no sooner had the world begun to grasp that the microbe – initially pooh-poohed by skeptics as merely another type of flu – was stumping doctors and epidemiologists alike, than the battle about blaming China entered the debate. The question of whether it came from bats sold in wet markets or was manufactured in the laboratories of Beijing seemed to override discussions of symptoms and cures.

Nothing will happen if Israel applies sovereignty to 30% of Area A

Just as people moved beyond India’s annexation of Kashmir, people will get beyond Israel’s annexation of 30% of Judea and Samaria. Op-ed.

By Rachel Avraham, INN

Netanyahu proposes sovereignty plan September 10th 2019

In recent days, it appears that Israel’s plans to apply sovereignty in thirty percent of Judea and Samaria are halted, for Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz does not believe that such plans should proceed amid the pandemic. He also is hesitant to apply sovereignty, in the absence of an agreement with the other side. If the Israeli government listens to Gantz on this, it will be a terrible mistake, for time is not on our side.

Trump’s days in the White House may be numbered and a Joe Biden presidency will not permit Israel to apply sovereignty in any percent, let alone thirty percent of Judea and Samaria. Therefore, unless we want the most beneficial and practical peace plan ever presented to be thrown in the dustbins of history, we need to take action in order to implement it, so it will be a fait accompli before Election Day.

The War Against the West and its Defender

By Melanie Phillips,    JULY 7, 2020<

Across America, law and order has now broken down. There are repeated attacks on the police and a huge spike in the number of murders.

On FrontPageMag, John Perrazzo reports:

“On Sunday, May 31, eighteen homicides were committed in Chicago, breaking the city’s previous one-day record of thirteen, set 29 years ago. In fact, over the course of that same weekend as a whole, Chicago police responded to at least 73 incidents in which 92 people were shot, including 27 who died as a result. ‘We’ve never seen anything like it at all,”’ said Max Kapustin, the senior research director at the University of Chicago Crime Lab. ‘I don’t even know how to put it into context. It’s beyond anything that we’ve ever seen before.’

“In a 28-day period from mid-May through mid-June, the incidence of murder, burglary and grand larceny auto crimes in New York spiked dramatically when compared to the same period last year. Particularly alarming was the homicide count – 38 murders in 28 days – a total twice as high as the corresponding figure from 2019.”

A time for choosing

By Andrea Widburg, AMERICAN THINKER

In 1964, Ronald Reagan burst upon the national political scene with his consequential speech about America’s worrisome move away from traditional American governance that focuses on the individual and reveres traditional morality. Americans nevertheless elected a Democrat who believed that smart government could right all wrongs.

That choice set America on the path to the 2020 election. This time, the choice is no longer between bigger or smaller government. Instead, Americans must choose between individual liberty under the Constitution or full-bore, totalitarian Marxism.

We chose wrong in 1964 but America’s inherent strength gave us a 46-year grace period. This time, however, we’d better get it right for there are no do-overs.

America’s Castrated Generals and Cuckolded ‘Experts’

If Donald J. Trump is re-elected to a second term as president, will that victory finally be enough to break the back of a military and policy “elite” who have surrendered to the anti-American mobs and the Democratic Party who made them possible?

By Sebastian Gorka, AM GREATNESS June 22, 2020

Who does our military serve? Are they subordinated to some ineffable “conventional wisdom” about justice and racial harmony? Do they march to the beat of a “politically correct” agenda defined by the organizations like Black Lives Matter, Antifa, or to the nostrums of ivy league grandees? Are their concepts of operations inspected and approved for their “egalitarian” content by CNN and the New York Times? Or are they under the command of the citizen America elects to hold the rank of their commander-in-chief?

Do we still have civilian control over the military in America and are our services still loyal to the Constitution? Or have our generals and admirals decided to mutiny in favor of those who hate the “deplorables” and Donald Trump, the man Americans chose to lead our country and command our military?

Trump Admin Delivers Formal Notice of Withdrawal from WHO

Trump Admin Delivers Huge Win for America First Agenda

By Jack Davis, WESTERN JOURNAL

Ending months of denunciations of the World Health Organization by President Donald Trump over what he said was its failure to promptly alert the world to the dangers of the coronavirus, the Trump administration on Tuesday formally served notice of its plan to withdraw from the WHO.

A notice explaining the intent of the U.S. to withdraw was delivered to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, and a spokesman for Guterres confirmed to Fox News that it had been received.

The White House also notified Congress that the U.S. will leave the WHO effective July 2021, Fox reported.

Racialization in 2020

by Howard Rotberg

Have you noticed how various media are using the term “racialized” more often? Have you noticed that there is a lot of advocacy on the need to give special benefits, protections or privileges to “racialized” people? What does that mean?

And aren’t we supposed to act as individuals and judge people as individuals, not as part of a race or ethnicity? Don’t we in the west strive for a colour-blind society? And if we focus on the matters that divide us, how can we ever get along?

Webster-Merriam defines “racialized” as “the act or process of imbuing a person with a consciousness of race distinctions or of giving a racial character to something or making it serve racist ends”.

Point of No Return

The time to choose between irreconcilable opposites is almost at hand.

By Conrad Black, AM GREATNESS July 6, 2020

Donald Trump gave the greatest speech of his career on Friday night at Mount Rushmore, an address that will soon take on historic importance. The president has now forced his opponents out of their fetid hothouse of snobbery, humbug, and subversion. In the process he has forced the Bush Republicans, who led the party between the retirement of Ronald Reagan and the rise of Donald Trump, to show their colors.

George H. W. Bush became president because James Baker, his campaign manager in 1980 when he was running against Ronald Reagan for the Republican nomination, persuaded him to throw his lot in with Reagan after the former California governor’s nomination victory was assured, but while Bush could still win another primary. Not having strong views on the subject, Reagan gave Bush (as the distant runner-up for the nomination) the vice-presidential position. He was a dutiful vice president and competent president, but he never understood how or why Reagan had moved the Republican Party.
