Peloni:  Highly recommended video.  Natasha makes similar conclusions drawn by Eugene Kontorovich, that the support for the Palestinian state is non-binding, that it establishes the lack of credibility of the efforts of England and France to pretend that such a state exists already.  She also explains that the authority in Gaza is placed under the Board of Peace with Trump at the head of that board among other points.  For greater inspection on this, however, in another must read article, Global Disconnect provides a near line by line breakdown of the resolution, in which the language used is explained to have significant and foreboding repercussions for Israel as it has been sidelined from intervening in Gaza as Trump’s Board of Peace takes over.  Despite the statements by Kontorovich and Hausdorff, this resolution remains highly concerning as a potential tool to be used against Israel from more than one aspect.  Relevantly, it must always be recalled that the creation of a second Palestinian state has never been about liberating Palestinians from anyone, as it has always been about killing Jews and the conquest of the Jewish state.

Peloni:  There is near zero chance that Trump will come to aid Ukraine.  Ukraine’s needs are of the moment, but the US is entering into the midterm election season, during which it would be quite a toxic move for Trump to come to support Ukraine, and Trump will not threaten the chance of losing the congress to support the intransigent Ukrainians and their European allies.  The victory in this war was always going to be decided along the lines of who has the greatest means to stay in the war, and as I have mentioned many times, Ukraine will not be able to overcome their deficit of men, munitions and moral.  It appears we are approaching the point where the consequence of all of this goes from drip, drip, drip to an all out dam break.  The US can not stop this, even if this were Trump’s most fervent desire to do so.

Peloni:  Saudi demands require a two state solution, but a two state solution has existed for the past century.  It came at the cost of 78% of the territory intended to be included in the Jewish Homeland in the League of Nations Mandate of Palestine thru the efforts of the mendacious British.  Accepting this fact could solve many problems in the region.  Requiring the creation of a second such state, however, would come at too great of a price, even for Saudi normalization.

Far too many pro-Israel organizations and writers marked the 50th anniversary of the U.N. General Assembly vote to adopt Resolution 3379, which stated that Zionism “is a form of racism and racial discrimination,” by showcasing the efforts that the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations when the resolution was passed, made to work against it. While Moynihan was right in saying that “it is a lie which the United Nations has now declared to be a truth—and so the actual truth must be restated,” the United Nations still is an extremely anti-Israel institution.

Peloni:  In a near unanimous vote, the UN Security Council voted in favor of the US proposed resolution which indicates support for the creation of a second Palestinian state to be carved from land which was intended to be included in the Jewish Homeland over a century ago by the Allied Supreme powers at the end of WWI.  While the Palestinians have consistently differed with their Western supporters in having any aspirations of a state alongside the Jewish state over the past many decades, Western determination to serve up such a vehicle of Israel’s devastation has seemingly remained un-phased by these facts.  In the wake of the celebrations of Palestinians participating in the October 7 massacre, not to mention the joy with which Gazan crowds beat living and dead Jewish captives as they were dragged into the dungeons of Gaza, the support for the Trump administration to pretend that their efforts today will result in any peaceful resolution is either coldly mendacious or inexplicably naive.

Peloni: Erin talks with Jonathan Conricus – Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and former IDF international spokesperson – about the US push for creating a second Palestinian state.  Conricus explains that Qatar and Turkey represent the interests of the Muslim Brotherhood and are pushing the Trump administration to support the creation of a new terror state on Israel’s border despite the example of October 7 being the purpose and eventuality of doing so.
