Mamdani is worse, far worse, than even the most dire predictions.

“This is purely politics at a time when real services are needed,” Democratic political consultant Hank Sheinkopf told The Post. “We have real deficits and this mayor is spending five million dollars to put 40 political operatives on the payroll. It’s morally incomprehensible . . . It’s outrageous.”

How the Left weaponizes its own fantasies to keep itself in power.

The left in the U.S. can’t win elections except by cheating, and that’s why leftists are fighting so fiercely against election reform. In Britain, meanwhile, the ruling Labour party is facing a challenge from a relatively new party, Reform UK, which wants to end the mass Muslim migration that has already transformed the UK and threatens to end its existence as a free society. Aware that it likely cannot win the next election, either,Labour is using charges of “Islamophobia” to try to destroy Reform, using the UK government as a tool.

They Don’t Care About Gaza

Most voters don’t care about Gaza, and — despite all the alarmist predictions — the Gaza conflict had no impact on the presidential election.

Rafael Medoff | May 27, 2026

The release of the Democratic Party’s internal autopsy of the 2024 presidential campaign is causing controversy in the political world. But the most significant aspect of the report is what the authors left out: Gaza.

You know why? Because most voters don’t care about Gaza, and — despite all the alarmist predictions — the Gaza conflict had no impact on the presidential election.

Mark Levin, Michael Oren, and Victor Davis Hanson on Iran: Why Time Is Running Out.

Peloni & David Fieldstone

Mark Levin’s Show on FOX NEWS of Saturday, May 30, 2026

Mark’s opening was complicated: in that it was very technical, including his researched reading of Excerpts from Leaders of long ago, such as FDR, who was one of the most corrupt & imperial Presidents in US History, whom Gen. George C. Marshal could not tolerate. Mark advised – Trump has well accomplished what FDR could not. He was so corrupt that even his own party: would not back him up.

IDF forces capture the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon

Update: US Sec. Of State Rubio is  reportedly pressing for a ceasefire amid significant Israeli battlefield gains.  The more things change, the more we see can grasp the trends which are characteristically constant.

Peloni:  The Israeli flag once again flies atop Beaufort castle.  This 900 year old Crusader structure stands atop the strategically situated mountain overlook from which Hezbollah attacks were coordinated against northern Israel following the Israeli withdrawal abandoned this key structure back in 2000. Shortly after the success of the capture of this ancient fortress, the French called for a meeting of the UN Security Council regarding Lebanon.  Meanwhile Channel 14 is reporting that major attacks across Lebanon will be taking place within 24 hours while coordinated with the US.  See Netanyahu’s comments at bottom.  Ben Gvir is calling for the flattening of the Hezbollah stronghold at Dahieh in southern Lebanon, but this is expressly contrary to agreements between Israel and the US at this point outside of specific targeted attacks, so don’t look for any such flattening strikes to happen.

Antisemitism in the Medical World

Peloni:  This is both a damning and frightening report.  What is going on in America?  Is Leo Terrel and his Taskforce on Antisemitism addressing this in any way?  Are we to believe that there is truly nothing that might be done to stem the tide of antisemitism in the US while no actions are currently taking place across the US to counter the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration there?

In health care, vile hatred and threats against Israelis and Jews are patently ignored and even celebrated.

Eileen F. Toplansky | Am Thinker | May 30, 2026

Historically, antisemitism was endemic in American medicine in the early to mid-20th century, with quotas on Jewish students and residency trainees until the 1960s.

But in 2023, antisemitic incidents dramatically increased, with a 140% increase from 2022 and the highest since data collection began in 1979.

THE BATTLE FOR TURKEY’S SOUL

Peloni:  Exceptional review of Erdogan, and how he led a revolution of radicalization over secularized Turkey.

How a nation that once embodied Western hopes for a secular Muslim democracy evolved into a religious-nationalist power challenging the very assumptions upon which NATO was built.

Michel Benchimol

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881 – 10 November 1938) was a Turkish field marshal, revolutionary statesman, author, and the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, serving as its first President from 1923 until his death in 1938. He undertook sweeping progressive reforms, which modernized Turkey into a secular, industrializing nation. Ideologically a secularist and nationalist, his policies and theories became known as Kemalism. Due to his military and political accomplishments, Atatürk is regarded as one of the most important political leaders of the 20th century. y ?ncelemeelemani - Own work, Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=26956220 [Cropped]Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881 – 10 November 1938) is regarded as one of the most important political leaders of the 20th century. y ncelemeelemani – Own work, Public Domain, Wikipedia [Cropped]

6 Essential Requirements for a Good Iran Nuclear Deal

Peloni:  Well, I still argue that a good deal would require unconditional surrender, as the regime is not to be trusted to fulfill the terms of any agreement, and a tired West led by a growingly indifferent American polity can not be expected to enforce its will in the future against a regime which they are not even willing to hold to task regarding the meager outlines of what should have been seen as repeated and egregious clear violations of Trump’s self imposed ceasefire.  From the attacks on US allies by Iran, to the attacks on Israel by Iran’s proxy Hezbolllah, to Iran’s seizing of the Strait of Hormuz, the US has ignored all of this.  Hence, a deal, any deal, which might be signed by the beligerant, terrorist, Armageddonist Iranian regime should simply be understood to be a punt to tomorrow for what is politically difficult today…which was always the point pursued by the West in acquiescing to Iran over the past 50yrs.

Andrea Stricker

A new U.S.-Iran nuclear deal may soon emerge — or at least an initial memorandum of understanding (MOU) to be fleshed out over 60 days. President Donald Trump pledged on May 27 that the United States will resolve the conflict with Iran peacefully and lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports — but only if Tehran agrees to a truly “great” nuclear agreement. If not, Washington will finish the job militarily.

Escalating pressure, both economically and militarily, is the right approach. The Obama administration’s weak P5+1 nuclear agreements with the regime in 2013 and 2015 left Tehran’s pathway to acquiring nuclear weapons fundamentally intact. Flush with billions of dollars in sanctions relief, the regime built up its terrorist proxies, missile arsenals, and drones — ultimately forcing Trump to confront it with both military action and sustained economic pressure.

A Reckoning Comes for the Congressional Baseball Shooting

Peloni:  The perversion of American justice and intelligence has had rippling and crippling effects across not just America, but the world.  Restoring these two aspects of American governance and society will go a long way towards not just Making America Great Again, but making the world a safer place to live in general.

In 2017, James Hodkinson, a Bernie Sanders supporter, assembled a list of Freedom Caucus members, headed to the Congressional baseball game, asked where the Republicans were, and opened fire on them.

And the FBI covered it up.

US Judiciary Committee Exposes Details on US Funding for Anti-Israel Color Revolution Protests and Terror NGOs

Peloni:  This is a very important breaking story.  The evidence for what we knew was taking place in the color revolution if not also coordination of terror funding out of Washington is finally being revealed.  So a fond note of appreciation should be highlighted to those members of the US Congress which took the courageous step of releasing the result of their investigation to the world.  The consequences of these findings must be substantively pursued, publicly exposed, and prodigiously prosecuted, and, as Avi Abelow explains below, in both Israel and America.  In fact, if the illicit funding which took place demonstrates any knowledge of the October 7 Massacre, as Avi alludes to below, it must be recalled that the victims of that great slaughter included citizens of 52 different nations.

Avi Abelow | Meta | May 29, 2026

Ok the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee today May 29, 2026 published proof of American Government Money was used and sent through NGOs.  There’s the Proof the Biden Regime Government paid for Anti Israel Protest in the United States and in Israel I’m assuming the Anti Judicial Reform Protest. Also according to the report some of the Ties were to Terrorist groups.

They’re merely the flip side of Hamas and Islamic Jihad fellow butchers of Jews.

Yet much, if not most, of the world, including folks like VP Vance and his boss, insist that Israel remain a 9-15 mile wide zipper of a state, while ARABISM gets to have a second, not first, additional state in the original 1920 Mandate of Palestine.

Beijing’s influence persists in US schools under a new name

Peloni:  A similar strategy has kept the Muslim Brotherhood active and influential in societies which have deemed them as being outlawed over the years, many times actually.  Solving this problem is critical to ending foreign influence, and notably not just that of the Chinese, being weaponized and instituted to bring down Western society.

by Jennifer Richmond | The Hill | May 29, 2026

If students are learning Chinese in public schools, they could be using a curriculum shaped by the Chinese Communist Party.

In 2004, Beijing began to establish Confucius Institutes on American university campuses, which in turn partnered with K-12 public schools to establish roughly 500 Confucius Classrooms. A backlash on Capitol Hill led to the closure of nearly all the Confucius Institutes, leading most to assume that the problem had been solved.

Trump making final determination on Iranian ceasefire deal

Peloni:  As the clock goes tick tock, Trump continues to display no rush in choosing to move forward with either the deal he claims to have with the Iranians or to return to war.  Meanwhile a hush in recent days has been the most positive aspect of what came following the pregnant pause which met Trump’s demand that the Arab states join the Abraham Accords.  Of course, forcing the Arabs to join a peace deal which undermines the rudimentary aspects of both their society and their religion has little chance of bringing peace, but it would provide Trump with a commitment to managed the strife which might arise in the region without the need of the US to fall back from its long anticipated pivot to China.
