Chairman Smith, Ranking Member Wild, members of the Committee, thank you for inviting me to testify at this important hearing. I have come here from Geneva, from the headquarters of the United Nations Human Rights Council, to report to you on how that and other key UN bodies, as well as high UN officials, are engaged in the systematic demonization of Israel, even in the aftermath of last month’s massacre by Hamas.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday called on Israel not to reoccupy the Gaza Strip once its war with Hamas ends.
His remarks came amid a flurry of statements from Washington officials against such a scenario after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will have “indefinite” overall security control of the Palestinian enclave once it has destroyed Hamas and removed it from power.

HaBithonistim chairman Brigadier-General (res.) Amir Avivi believes that in the current war with Hamas, Israel will be required to conquer all of Gaza, until the Egyptian border – or the goals of the war will not be achieved.
In an interview with 103 FM Radio, Avivi said, “There is definitely an amazing increase in the army’s power. There is fog of war, and that is a good thing.”
He added, “We need to understand that we are conquering an entire city. Around it there are many crowded camps. We are advancing towards the operational heart – there are a few secondary hearts which will be taken care of.”

On the one hand he says no ceasefire before we destroy Hamas but goes on to sayno ceasefire before the hostages are returned. Is he suggesting that the return of the hostages will end the war with Hamas standing?
He is also saying that Israel will take “overall security responsibility” in Gaza indefinitely after its war with Hamas, That’s no solution at all. Liberman is saying “turning over Gaza to the PA is dellusional”.
Bibi should be planning to annex Gaza sans Gazans but not saying it.

We keep being told by Palestinians and their supporters that Gaza is “running out of fuel” — told that, in fact, every day, though it never happens. What we do know is that the IDF has photographs of oil storage tanks where 500,000 liters of fuel are being kept by Hamas. And now the IDF has had confirmed by a Palestinian health official that there are in addition at least another 500,000 to one million liters of fuel stored by Hamas under Shifa Hospital.
