Israel can limit the ICJ’s damage

Israel must immediately end its acceptance of the ICJ’s jurisdiction with respect to the Genocide Convention. Even a slight change in the composition of the Court or the geopolitical climate would bring a disastrous result – and hostile states like South Africa can roll the dice as many times as they want, with no consequence if they lose and a huge payoff if they win.

By  Prof. Eugene Kontorovich, Israel Hayom  01-28-2024 10:19

Israelis on Friday displayed what is called Jewish joy – they celebrated that the pogromniks only broke the windows, but did not kill anyone. The good news was the International Court of Justice did not effectively order us to wait to be tortured and murdered, by demanding a halt to the Gaza War. That is certainly good – but only in the twisted world where the ICJ is putting Israel, not Hamas, on trial for the absolutely absurd charge of genocide.

Meditations on Trump, Obama, Iowa and N.H, Europe, and Exile

Peloni:  Don’t miss the video included in Fischer’s article. It comes from a pre-Channukah speech at Doral where Trump spoke of his unabashed support of Israel and American Jews where he raised some examples of his support for both which are commonly overlooked.

American Jews must understand that, even as one or another local or national politician is the one to back now, the enthusiasm should be muted by recognizing that America is Exile. Opinion.

Rabbi Prof. Dov Fischer, INN

I am absolutely, incredibly, utterly amazed that political pundits are absolutely, incredibly, utterly amazed that President Donald Trump won Iowa and New Hampshire easily by double digits.

As I have written dozens of times, Trump will win the GOP nomination. It is not close and will not be close. It does not matter how many times he gets indicted and how many times he gets convicted. I am proud to support him for President — again. I am there, on the record. Mark Levin spent the first 6 minutes of his TV show on Fox News quoting me as a Trump supporter. And so did President Trump himself: (embedded link beginning at 4:55)

The Iranian Regime is Finished

By Tom Nash                                                                          29 January 2024

E. Rowell:  While Mr. Nash often uses hyperbole, he discusses all the ways that Iran’s goals for 7/10/23 have been foiled. Instead of solidifying Iran’s regional hegemony, Hamas’ attack has strengthened Israel’s position in the region and left Iran struggling to remain just in one piece. While I don’t agree with every statement he makes, his analysis overall is plausible and well reasoned.

Drone Attack on American Troops in Jordan, the Untold Facts

JaFaJ  INTELLIGENCE    January 28, 2024

1. JaFaJ has learned from Western military sources stationed in Jordan that the drone attack that targeted the US military base in Jordan, Tower 22, was carried out using A Shahed-136 kamikaze drone. According to the sources, the Iranian-manufactured drone targeted the soldiers while they were eating dinner at the base’s chow hall. The sources noted that this “underscores the fact that whoever fired the drone had good intelligence about when and where to cause significant damage”. [COMMENT: Tower 22 is one of several American bases in Jordan. Located in the North Eastern part of Jordan, Tower 22 is the closest American outpost to the Syrian borders. END COMMENT]

The insanity of the E. Jean Carroll case

TIERNEY’S REAL NEWS

A liberal jury and liberal judge in New York just awarded E. Jean Carroll $88.5 MILLION ($5 MILLION the first time, $83.5 MILLION the second time) for “defamation” over a rape that never happened.

I have read many details of the E. Jean Carroll case over the past few years but Raheem Kassam and Breitbart summed it up the best. That’s the opening for today’s newsletter. Here’s what you need to know…in NO particular order! Internet search engines are hiding the truth about this case and the fake news is telling lies – not to mention that the corrupt judge would NOT allow any of this evidence to be presented to the jury – which was probably stacked with Feds.

China, the Red Sea, and Trade

By Stephen Bryen SUBSTACK                                       27 January 2024

The Chinese are increasingly angry with Iran.  Reuters has reported that Chinese officials have asked Iran “to rein in attacks on ships in the Red Sea by the Iran-backed Houthis, or risk harming business relations with Beijing.”

That may not sound like much of a threat, but the hidden text is that a lot of the parts for Iranian missiles and drones, and equipment for its large scale nuclear program, come from China.  If China actually cut these supplies off, Iran would have to close its war factories.  The Chinese would do what US export controls completely failed in doing: shutting down Chinese access to technology from Asia, the United States and Europe.

IDF in ‘intensive training’ at Lebanon border

T. Belman. I believe that, Israel will attack Hezbollah in about 2 or 3 weeks for the following reasons:

  1. – the IDF has been training for it
  2. – diplomacy wont get Hezbollah to pullback
  3. – 80,000 Israelies have left their homes in northern Israel and need to return.
  4. – The IDF is already mobilized,
  5. – US war ships are in the Mediterranean

Troops are preparing for a possible war with Hezbollah.

The Israel Defense Forces is preparing in northern Israel for a possible confrontation with the Hezbollah terrorist group.

Last week, soldiers from the IDF’s 226th Reserve Paratroopers Brigade, aka the Northern Brigade, and combat engineering forces performed training exercises focused on combat “in densely populated urban areas, winter weather conditions, and in the northern terrain,” the IDF said on Saturday.

Gallant says IDF will go into action soon against Hezbollah

I recomend you read International law and the State of Israel

BREAKING–Peer Reviewed Publication Calls for Global Moratorium on COVID-19 Vaccination

Peloni:  The peer reviewed paper discussed by McCullough and Mead was an important accomplishment, and hopefully will have a penetrating effect on those who have still failed to accept the findings discussed in this paper.  The full paper can be found HERE

The full abstract is attached below McCullough’s article.

Lead Author Explains Why mRNA Should Never Have Been Authorized for Human Use

By Peter McCullough, Courageous Discourse  January 28, 2024

I have been struck by the plethora of papers that disclose horrific, serious adverse events after COVID-19 vaccination including hospitalization and death, yet somewhere in the paper the authors insert a gratuitous promotion such as “vaccination has saved millions of lives” or “the benefits of vaccination still outweigh the risks.” These phrases come with evidence or support, seem out of place, and I wonder if they are inserted to gain institutional approval for submission or by design are used to get past biased editorial boards and reviewers who want to keep the false “safe and effective” narrative flowing in the medical literature.

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

By Michael Ordman, VGNI  JAN 27/23

Israel finally welcomed its first sustained friendly winter rains, marking Tu b’Shevat – the Jewish New Year for Trees. Recent positive news was full of examples of support for Israel from its friends both local and international.

IDF soldiers in restaurants get their meals paid for by friendly owners or other customers. They are given flowers before going home from Gaza to present to their spouses. And two soldiers serving together in Gaza became even better friends when they met in the hospital maternity ward where their wives were about to give birth.  Israel’s dairy farms on the Gaza border are being maintained by foreign students studying at Israeli universities who showed their friendship by remaining in Israel after Oct 7. And Israel’s overseas friends have donated everything from money, to essentials, ambulances, and even the boots on soldiers’ feet.

Civilian Deaths in Gaza: Relatively Low.

by Alan M. Dershowitz, GATESTONE  •  January 28, 2024 at 5:00 am

  • Critics of Israel almost never cite comparable data from other military encounters. This omission creates the false impression that the civilian death tolls in Gaza are among the highest in history, when they are in fact among the lowest.
  • The New York Times’ conclusion that the new data suggests that it is “wrong to accuse [Israel] of wanting to maximize civilian deaths” is highly relevant to the false charges of genocide that are being considered by the International Court of Justice.

Israel informs Egypt it will send troops to Gaza’s Rafah

This comes amid reports that the tense relationship between Israel and Egypt is on the verge of collapse following weeks of a ‘deepening chill’ amid the IDF’s war on Hamas.

Israel informed Egypt on Saturday evening of its intention to send troops into Rafah and the Philadelphi Corridor, despite Egypt’s firm opposition to such a decision, Maariv reported, citing Sky News Arabia.

According to the report, Egypt rejected the request.

Head of the State Information Services (SIS) Diaa Rashwan said earlier this week, “It must be strictly emphasized that any Israeli move in this direction will lead to a serious threat to Egyptian-Israeli relations.”

The Israeli-American Plan to Overthrow Netanyahu

Episode 9: Gadi and Mike discuss the maneuvering against Bibi, and how the Biden administration now plans to sell the Iran deal to American Jews.

by Michael Doran and Gadi Taub, TABLET Jan 25

It seems like former IDF chief of staff, and member of the war cabinet, General Gadi Eisenkot, has been chosen by the anti-Bibi forces as the battering ram with which to take down Netanyahu—with American assistance.

Mike and Gadi discuss how the left and the right in Israel view Eisenkot’s recent maneuvering in very different terms, and for different reasons. The right views it as pure cynicism, while the adherents of the two-state solution have come to think – or so Gadi believes – that Israel should be prevented from winning this war, so that it becomes sufficiently chastened, and Bibi-free, to allow the Biden administration to impose the solution favored by the left, but which the majority of Israelis have clearly rejected.

Also on this episode: Mike explains how the Biden administration has tricked Israelis and American Jews into thinking the disastrous “regional integration” policy (i.e. the appeasement of Iran) is somehow in Israel’s interest. Here’s a clue: Saudi Arabia.

Israel’s isolated generals

The Israeli public has made clear that it opposes cutting a deal for the hostages that will enable Hamas to survive the war. Its leaders should listen.

Caroline Glick, JNS  (January 26, 2024 / JNS)

Shortly after Hamas’s Oct. 7 invasion of Israel, its sadistic massacre of 1,200 Israelis and kidnap of 246 men, women and children from southern Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government declared war on Iran’s Palestinian proxy. The government set four war goals: the military eradication of Hamas; the eradication of Hamas’s civilian regime in the Gaza Strip; the return of all the hostages; and the permanent pacification of Gaza to ensure that it will never pose a threat to Israel again.

Almost immediately thereafter, anonymous “senior IDF sources” began grousing to the media about the government’s war goals. “Sources in the General Staff” have been regularly cited advocating for replacing the goals of the war with others that rule out Hamas’s eradication and the permanent pacification of Gaza.

Arab Intelligence warns Hezbollah of potential Israeli operation in Lebanon

LBC International  2024-01-27

Recent intelligence gathered by major global powers indicates that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with the Israeli army, is prepared to initiate a war against Lebanon. This action hinges on their inability to compel Hezbollah to comply with United Nations Resolution 1701.

LBCI has obtained sources revealing that an unnamed Arab nation has provided intelligence to Hezbollah. This information points towards Tel Aviv’s plans to launch a significant military operation within Lebanon, potentially escalating tensions in the region.
