A Russian passenger jet built almost entirely with domestically manufactured components completed its first test flight on August 29, a launch that gave Yakovlev Design Bureau and United Aircraft Corporation’s (UAC) respective shares on the Moscow Exchange a buoyant lift.Designed by Yakovlev and manufactured by UAC at its Komsomolsk-na-Amure factory, the new Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) is a narrow-body regional aircraft with a range of 4,578 kilometers (2,472 nautical miles) that can carry 87 to 108 passengers depending on seat configurations.

Oslo is dead: A Palestinian state will never exist –

T. Belman. Yes, Oslo is dead but we are stuck with its legacy which includes Hamas, PA, Gaza, Area A and Area B and a dramatic increase in antisemitism.

I still believe in the Jordan Option. Keeps your fingers crossed because its going to solve a lot of problems

Inherent in the JO is the fact that Jordan as it exists today will be the Palestinian state.

Thirty years on, we can say with confidence that Oslo and everything that it stood for is dead. Rather than trying to revive it, we would do well to offer it a fitting eulogy.

Next week marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Oslo Accords, one of the most colossal strategic errors in modern Israel’s history.

Three decades after prime minister Yitzhak Rabin and PLO terrorist-in-chief Yasser Arafat shook hands as a beaming US president Bill Clinton looked on, the smiles have long ago been erased thanks to the disaster wrought by the agreement.

VERY GOOD NEWS ISRAEL

By Michael Ordman, VGNI

Israelis are constantly working hard to return patients back to health, especially from cancer, Parkinson’s and dementia. Also to early-diagnose these life-threatening conditions.

Israel has seen good returns for its diplomatic missions; including the Arab countries who signed the Abraham Accords, plus Cyprus, Greece, and especially Papua New Guinea which opened its new embassy in Jerusalem to show solidarity with Israel’s return to the Promised Land. Israeli doctors are even helping Pakistan return normal vision to children with deadly eye cancer in Afghanistan.

Since when did the Palestinians become entitled to a state?

By Ted Belman 1.1.17

In 2011, Newt Gingrich said “The Palestinians are an invented people.” He was right. So why are they entitled to a state?

In 1964, the Palestine Liberation Organization was formed to liberate Palestine through armed struggle. But it took years for the notion of a Palestinian people to crystalize.  In 1967, they were not recognized as such, nor were they considered a party to the conflict.  Security Council Resolution 242 passed after the ’67 war, made no mention of them.

Trump: ‘COVID Hysteria’ Back Because ‘Election Coming Up

By Eric Mack, NEWSMAX

Former President Donald Trump warned “COVID hysteria” is coming back because “there’s an election coming up,” and Republicans have to step in to stop the tyranny.

“Congressional Republicans should also stop the Biden administration from bringing back COVID mandates, lockdowns, and restrictions of any kind, cutting off the money,” Trump told the South Dakota GOP convention Friday night in a speech that aired live and in its entirety on Newsmax.

A Nazi speech in Ramallah tells a much larger tale

The Israeli left, the European Union and the Biden administration have a shared interest in repressing the Nazi roots of Palestinian Arab nationalism.

(JNS) Last Wednesday, a spat between Israeli Education Minister Yoav Kisch and Yad Vashem chairman Dani Dayan caused an international uproar.

Dayan was appointed by the Bennett-Lapid government. He is a member of Gideon Sa’ar’s party of former Likudniks and an outspoken hater of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It might thus have been expected that when Kisch sent a letter to Dayan on Wednesday listing a series of allegations of mismanagement of Yad Vashem that have been leveled against Dayan, the opposition would respond that Kisch was waging a political witch hunt against their guy.

The WEF and the Climate Cult

Colluding for a World-wide Welfare State

By  SEPT 9, 2023

One should never underestimate the Left’s propensity for projecting its sins upon its victims; nor, when the Left does manage to admit the destructive effects of their regressive ideology, to proclaim these disastrous consequences as fundamental transformational and “liberation.” To avoid such a fraught misunderstanding, one must ever remember the Left perverts the purported rationale of every entity captured in their “long march” through the institutions.

To wit: The World Economic Forum (WEF).

EvRe shares her journey from left to right with us.

T.  Belman.  I was impressed with EvRe’s comments so I asked her to tell us a bit about her journey.  I’m glad I did.

By Eve Rowell aka EvRe1

I’ve been asked to write something to let you know me better. I am a retired physician, mother, and grandmother. I come from a progressive family.

After a 2006 visit to Israel in my early ’50s, I had a lot of questions, mainly about Israel’s history and the history of the US-Israel relationship.

“Biden Backdoors Israel in the U.N., Rescinding Trump’s Recognition of Sovereignty over the Golan,”

T. Belman.  And we are supposed to welcome US sponsored normalization talks.  No thanks, Israel is better off without the US involvement.

by Tony Badran, TABLET, Sept 6, 2023

Upon returning to power, the Biden administration underscored its plan to reopen the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem. It also quickly tipped its hand on its intention to reaffirm Obama’s position on the Golan. In February 2021, Secretary of State Antony Blinken telegraphed the administration’s rejection of Trump’s decision, as well as their plan to rescind it during their tenure. The administration continued to speak of Israel’s “control” (as opposed to “sovereignty”) over the Golan as a “practical” matter. The issue of “legality,” however, was “something else” that the administration was “still working on,” as U.N. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield put it in June 2021. Read more…

Biden Administration Bypassing Americans, Violating US Law, to Appease Regime of Iran

By Majid Rafizadeh, GATESTONE •  September 9, 2023

  • The Biden administration has been accused of secretly bypassing US laws to reach a deal with Iran’s Islamist regime.
  • On August 10, the Biden administration apparently cut a “deal” excluding Congress and keeping the American people and U.S. regional allies in the dark — even though they are the ones who would be the most directly affected by a “deal.”

How Solar Energy Is Making Settlers in the West Bank Even More Powerful

Plans for 22 solar power plants in the settlements would make them a central supplier of power to Israel and the Palestinians — and increase the country’s dependence on them

Nir Hasson, HAARETZ

Solar electricity is booming in Israel’s West Bank settlements, even as bureaucratic hurdles stall efforts to expand solar within the country.

The Civil Administration, Israel’s administrative body in the West Bank, is now moving forward with plans for 22 solar power plants in the West Bank. One plan calls for creating a plant in the Jordan Valley with greater power generation than any of the existing solar plants in Israel.

Implementing the plans would make solar power a major economic industry in the settlements and increase the country’s dependence on them.

The 21st Century Will NOT Be Chinese

By Drieu Godefridi, GATESTONE  •  September 8, 2023

  • [T]he news of the week is most likely the crash of China. Real estate, currency, stock markets, technology, demographics: it all fits together, and what lies ahead for China looks like stagnation at best.
  • There are an estimated 80 million unoccupied homes in China — a huge number, even for a giant country. While real estate has driven China’s growth for decades, it is now in danger of wrecking it.

They must go

It is not Israel’s obligation to offer itself as a movie stage for Africans to play out their murderous violence against each other.

Illegal immigrants must be expelled from Israel. They must go.

Y’know why? Because these Mistan’nim (illegal infiltrators) are . . . Illegal Infiltrators. They must go.

If a person steals 100 shekels from a store, it is fitting justice that his crime be reversed and he restore to the store the 100 shekels stolen plus further damages. If a person wrongfully breaks a person’s window, he should be required to reverse his wrong by paying for the window’s repair. And if he enters a country illegally, he should be required to reverse his wrong and leave. If he does not leave, he should be expelled forcibly. If he is from Eritrea, it does not matter whether he supports Dictator Isaia Afwerki, wears red, and celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of his “election” or whether he opposes Afwerki and wears blue. Both sides are in Israel illegally. They must go.
