Former acting CIA director Michael Morell was recently asked under oath about the origins of the intel letter discrediting the Hunter Biden laptop story as possible Russian disinformation.
He testified under oath that a call from now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken “triggered” the creation of the letter, which was signed by 51 current and former members of the intelligence community.

ABC News cut off a presidential candidate when he started talking about COVID-19 vaccines, raising concerns about censorship.
Robert Kennedy Jr., who recently announced his presidential run as a Democrat, sat down with ABC News for a lengthy interview released on April 27.

An instructor was fired at Hamline for showing images of Mohammed in art class. A Persian instructor is being investigated at San Francisco State for doing the same thing. Those are both examples of Islamist student associations trying to turn blasphemy into a hate crime. But there’s an older example of that which is the claim that any desecration of the koran, an Islamic text that calls for the mass murder, enslavement and rape of non-Muslims, is a hate crime and endangers Muslims. The latest example of this took place at Wayne State U.

This week Joe Biden touted a laundry list of immigration carrots and sticks intended to disincentivize illegal immigration at the southern border now that he’s lifting the sparsely enforced Title 42 restrictions on May 11.
They were mostly carrots. The New York Times called them a “new back door on immigration,” and explained that its permissiveness went well beyond the lawful congressional parameters for the admission of immigrants.

The railroad is part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, which is China’s global infrastructure development strategy adopted in 2013 that includes investing in more than 150 countries, and international organizations.
The state-owned China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Co Ltd analysts examined and approved the proposal, despite its heavy price tag. According to the proposal’s assessment board, the 1,860-mile rail line comes with the potential to “reshape trade and geopolitics across the Eurasian Continent.”

The profound brutality that Syrian President Bashar Assad exhibited toward demonstrators during the 12 years since the eruption of the Arab Spring led him to be shunned by most of his Arab neighbors. Arab efforts to reintegrate Assad’s Syria back into the fold of Arab states have gained significant momentum for several years and are getting closer to fulfillment. All major U.S. Arab allies, with Qatar’s notable exception, have been steadily moving away from the U.S. stance and toward acceptance of Assad’s victory in the civil war.
(JNS) In the early days of March, a small crowd of leftists gathered outside the U.S. consulate in Tel Aviv holding up signs reading, “Biden help!” and “Biden, Blinken, Our democracy is sinking.”
A speaker at the rally appealed to Biden to “save us from ourselves.”
The consulate rally was held under the banner of “Defend Israeli Democracy,” which had organized international protests against democratic judicial reform that would have restored checks and balances. International rallies, including one in Berlin which featured women dressed as the “handmaids” from the TV show and signs accusing Israel of “fascism” and being an “apartheid state,” were not speaking to Israelis, but to the international anti-Israel left.
T. Belman. Satanovsky says that Russian -Israel relations are good. Russia doesn’t stop Israel from bombing Iranian Assets in Syria and keeps Iran from entering a 70 km strip of land at the Syrian Border with Israel. He plays down the Israeli help to Ukraine as being very minor. This part of the discussion starts at 30 minutes.
Russia, like China, believes in non-interference in internal affairs of other countries whereas the US believes in interfering.

A furore over a British Labour Party politician tells us a great deal about the tsunami of Jew-hatred rolling across Britain, America and the west.
Diane Abbott, who in 1987 became Britain’s first black female member of parliament, caused widespread outrage last weekend when she wrote in The Observer that Jews, Irish people and travellers don’t face racism but merely suffer the same level of prejudice as people with red hair. The only possible victims of racial prejudice, she suggested, are black people.

The Law of Return was intended to allow Jews an automatic right to become a citizen of the Jewish state.
But the 1970 amendment to Israel’s “Law of Return” – which allows non-Jews with only one Jewish grandparent, who is not defined as a Jew by any major Jewish movement, the automatic right to immigrate and become Israeli citizens – needs to be eliminated or modified.
T. Belman. This article highlights the importance of Israel to both sides. The US will have to abandon the Palestinians and the TSS if it wants to solidify its alliance with Israel.

The United States has fallen behind China and numerous other countries in its global share of key industrial sectors, according to several experts in technology and industrial policy.
U.S. global shares in high-value industries have fallen so dramatically that the nation now ranks just above Italy and behind Mexico in a list of key advanced industries, said experts at an April 27 industrial strategy conference hosted by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) think tank.

Speaking at the Jerusalem Post conference Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said the State of Israel was 75 years young but the Jewish people more than 3,000 years old.
“The Arabs tried to slay the Jewish State in its infancy,” said DeSantis, comparing the War for Independence to David slaying Goliath.
BY RON KAMPEAS,
WASHINGTON (JTA) — The U.S. House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to congratulate Israel on its 75th birthday and to wish it well in making peace with other countries.
But the encouragement of peace deals did not extend to the Palestinians, in a breach with the language typical of U.S. lawmakers’ past Israeli Independence Day resolutions — and, insiders say, a departure from the language originally drafted for this one.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday, their first conversation since the Russian invasion more than a year ago, as Beijing attempts to portray itself as a potential peacemaker in the conflict.
China’s Foreign Ministry said it would send a special representative for Eurasian affairs to Ukraine and other countries “for in-depth communication with all parties on the political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.”

Tucker Carlson is neither down nor out; he is going to come back bigger and badder than ever. All you goofy virgins who love “Star Wars” will recall that when Darth Vader sliced Obi-Wan Kenobi in two – or at least his moth-eaten cloak – Ben stopped existing in this dimension and became a superbeing who popped in for a chat whenever Luke was in trouble. Tucker’s pretty much going to do that for the movement. Though Tucker may have been tossed off his perch at Fox (or jumped – we will eventually get the details on how this denouement went down), he will land on his feet and crush the libs beneath his preppy Topsiders.
