T. Belman. The drone costs bout $20,000 compared to an average of $13 million for a missile. They are easy to shoot down as their speed is 115 miles/hr. The also have a small payload. Iran is sending them to Hezbollah and Syria too. The Iron Dome missile costs between $20,000 and $100,000 each depending on who you believe.

Ukrainian officials said Russia killed at least four people on Monday by detonating a so-called kamikaze drone in Kyiv, the latest apparent use of the unmanned explosive device.

The officials suggested the strike — one of 28 drones that targeted the Ukrainian capital on Monday — appeared to involve an Iranian Shahed-136 drone, with video showing an aircraft quickly lowering on its target in the city’s center.

Weiss rightfully castigates Kanye but she is off the mark on Trump who said “No President has done more for Israel than I have,” and “US Jews have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel—Before it is too late!”” She erroneously called this a threat. She went on to say, “However you read the opaque missive, the toxic notion of the ungrateful Jew is unambiguous” thereby labeling Trump, an antisemite. No way, no how. He was merely doing what all politicians do, namely drawing attention to his achievements and calling for support. Trump is voicing his consternation in asking why Jews don’t support him more. Good question though. He was also saying that Biden is a threat to Israel. Couldn’t agree more.

In the final stretch of the campaign ahead of the November 1 election, opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to go hard after Jewish Home and its leader Ayelet Shaked and ensure she does not pass the electoral threshold, according to a Sunday report.

Netanyahu’s plan is to ensure “that Shaked is not left with a single right-wing voter,” Channel 12 news reported on the thinking in the Likud leader’s inner circle.

Iran and the US have been moving along two parallel lines when it comes to restoring the 2015 nuclear deal. Despite President Joe Biden’s willingness to make major concessions through his envoy Rob Malley, things are up in the air when it comes to the prospects of finalizing a revived agreement.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues to shed blood. The ongoing combat has implications that should worry Israel and require immediate address. The chief concern is that Russia and Iran are increasingly moving into each other’s orbit. This means that reality has changed not just in Syria and Lebanon, but also in Russia and Iran.

The United States is not prepared for strategic space competition against a united China and Russia, according to one expert.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is nearing technological parity with the United States in key space domains, according to Brandon Weichert, an independent geopolitical analyst. That means that it will soon threaten the United States’ ability to project power in space.
