Over four decades, Nicholas Kristof has been a highly respected, humanitarian and compassionate journalist for The New York Times. However, he has totally sullied his reputation by crafting a libelous column on May 11 titled “The Silence that Meets the Rape of Palestinians.” With this piece, he has left the world of effective journalism and has entrenched himself in anti-Zionist activism.

May 20, 1940

The morning air was cold and damp in German-occupied southern Poland.

Near the town of Oswiecim, dust drifted through old military barracks that still carried the smell of decades of military use. The buildings were worn, heavy, gray, and ordinary-looking.

General Keane: People Have NO IDEA What Iran’s Regime Is Preparing For

Peloni:  This is an important video.  The Iranians are acting as they are because of their religious understandings of what surviving the cataclysm of the past war means to them.  Their defiance in the face of what would surely be seen as defeat by others only serves to affirm the righteousness of their cause, the truth of their religion, and the clarity that their survival is the basis of what victory means to them.

Zohran Mamdani’s one-sided Middle East history

Peloni:  History half told are how the most successful libels begin, and it was no coincident that this is how the false reality in which the fabled Nabka was fabricated.

Mamdani digs himself deeper into fanatic Islamism.

Moshe Phillips | Am Thinker | May 21, 2026

Image via ChatGPT

Earlier this month, Zohran Mamdani shared an official video marking so-called “Nakba Day.” Leaning heavily into standard progressive, anti-Israel spin, the video used isolated family histories to recycle decades-old “blame Israel first” talking points. By falsely portraying the 1948 war purely as a unilateral act of Israeli aggression, the producers of this propaganda deliberately erased crucial historical context. They omitted the fact that five Arab armies invaded the nascent Jewish state, choosing instead to treat refugees from that era as a unique situation in order to foment a perpetual assignment of blame. The very word “Nakba” is politically charged and is used by anti-Israel extremists to refer to the Palestinian refugee situation that developed during the 1948 Arab–Israeli war following the complete Arab rejection of the UN’s partition plan.

Anatomy of a Catastrophe: Willful blindness, arrogance, & terror denial

Hamas did not need Israel to know nothing. Hamas needed Israel to believe the wrong thing. The lesson of October 7 is that refusing to recognize war when it is being waged against you does not produce peace. It produces surprise, paralysis, and catastrophe

“In Palestine I had been met every day by evidence of the Jewish blindness to the Arab problem,” asserted Richard Crossman, British Labour MP, who served on the 1946 Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry. “I was constantly reminded of the gallant politics of Vienna Socialists in 1934. There was the same misguided reliance on foreign aid, the same underestimation of the enemy, the same blind assurance that a cause which is right is also strong.”

That blindness returned with devastating force on October 7.

Fatah party turned 388 jihad murderers into its leaders at its 8th General Conference

By | May 21, 2026

It is mind-blowing that there is no global outcry in response to this news. Quietness translates into acceptance, an acceptance that a government which murders Jews in the name of a religion is deemed a globally legitimate government.

Trump says willing to wait to get ‘the right answers’ from Iran, resumption of military operations could ‘go very quickly’

Peloni:  Is Trump really waiting for the right answer?  After a year of negotiating, it might be understood that no such “right answer” would be forthcoming from an institutionalized mentality founded on creating enough chaos so as to draw the Shiite boogeyman Mahdi from his hiding hole.  Notably, Trump is an intelligent man, yet even someone with an IQ greater than could be counted on one hand should be able to grasp the already clearly limited options at hand.  So, the claim that he is waiting for the right answer is not terribly credible.  While the US are caught maintaining the blockade, they are simultaneously harnessing the benefit of the limited oil forthcoming from the Persian Gulf.  Yet, due to Trump having linked a fully porous ceasefire in Lebanon to ceasefire in Iran simply to appease the Iranian terrorists, the freedom of action by the IDF is being infringed to react rather than prevent attacks emanating from Hezbollah and its menacing FPV drones.  This stipulation, which was forced on Israel, should be lifted, and Israel should be allowed to return to the freedom of action granted to it under the terms of the previous ceasefire.

Ben Gvir’s Political Commercial Raises Double Standards

Peloni: In the wake of the recent Hamas funded flotilla which was intercepted by Israeli forces, the govt and world leaders have taken to condemning the actions of Min. Ben Gvir for his activist like attempt to chastise the pro-Hamas beligerants while being processed in Israel.

It is truly amazing how little it takes for an Israeli to presumably step out of line before being universally condemned as if he had actually executed the terror sponsoring activists which sailed with impunity on a Hamas financed flotilla to invade his country.  Many are arguing that this event has created an international incident, but the reality is if such an event took place in any other nation, this footage wouldn’t be newsworthy or even noteworthy.  Hence, ignoring the international angst which came from what was honestly was far less of a chastising than these melancholy marauders deserved, we should note the real importance of this event, which I would argue was far more political in nature than geopolitical.

Texas: Democrat Maureen Galindo Pledges to Imprison ‘American Zionists’ at Internment Camps

Peloni:  It seems reasonable to suspect that if Maureen Galindo were pledging to place Black, Hispanic, Chinese or Indian Americans in concentration camps with additional aims of castrating them while describing them as pedophiles, we wouldn’t be hearing the politically anemic responses being raised against her.

Fact. Israel is the only liberal democracy in the whole of the Middle East.

This despite, or because of, the mass murder of Jews (and now Christians) in Muslim and Islamic lands.

Barry Shaw | The View from Israel | May 20, 2026

This may have escaped your attention because your anti-Israel biased media certainly did not cover the story with any degree of accuracy.

This week, a Hezbollah terrorist opened fire on Israeli forces from inside a church in the southern Lebanese village of Qouza.

Thomas Massie Accused Israel Lobby Of Being Behind His Ouster — They Just Congratulated His Pro-Israel Opponent

Peloni:  Ed Gallrein raised somewhere around $3 million for his campaign, with an additional $32-$35 million from superpacs.  Yet, the roughly $7 million which came from Jewish groups are all that is noted by either the press or Gallrein’s opponent Massie as the basis of his fall from power.  The reality is that if the world didn’t have the collection of antisemitic libels which mask the reality of the woes of the world as being due to Jews, perhaps some of the long ignored problems might have been solved over the centuries in which these libels have instead been used to distract and focus the limited attention of antisemitic populations.

LET NON-CITIZENS VOTE, TUCKER SAYS

Peloni: As noted previously, Tucker Carlson’s attacks on Israel are neither substantive nor rational.  They are based on manipulated facts, purjored testimonies, and perverse conclusions.  His attempts in doing so lay bare the great hypocrisy in his narratives, all of which are aimed at either defeating the US-Israeli alliance or splitting the MAGA movement in the US.  Carlson’s latest assault on Israel, calling for the legitimate right of Arabs in the PA to vote in Israeli elections is neither sincere nor material.  He should not have been granted the platform on Israeli Channel 12, nor on any other legitimate media platform either.  Doing so only promotes the disinformation projected as honest debate, as was clearly the case in the recent interview indicated below.

What the critics of an Israeli Buffer Zone in Lebanon get wrong

J Street’s opposition to the buffer zone stems from an abstract ideological discomfort. The debate should center instead on what can be done so that Israeli families can live without thousands of rockets aimed at their homes from a few miles away.

For decades, critics of Israel’s security policy have insisted that buffer zones “don’t work” and that only negotiations can stop terrorism. J Street’s recent campaign against a possible long-term Israeli security presence in southern Lebanon repeats the same argument yet again.

As the ‘cease fire’ in Lebanon continues seemingly without end, the casualty list emanating from attacks by these FPV drones is having growing nearly daily.

The Secret Reason Trump Called Off BOMBING Iran Is TERRIFYING

Peloni:  Trump uses Gulf  ‘allies’ as both intermediaries presumably acting as peace negotiators and now as accepts their advise on canceling his long threatened return to war following Tehran’s obfuscation.  This places Trump’s Sunni allies in a position by which to both mislead Trump and to undermine American objectives in the same moment, and of course, this is exactly what has take form over and over again as Trump has been going thru a number of negotiation bouts over the past more than a year now.  It is time to finish the job, and at the same time, to finish any reliance or credibility being offered to the Sunni nations, all of whom simply want to preserve Iran as the regional opposition to the dominance of both America and Israel in the region.
