Islamists appropriate Black Lives Matter movement, despite history of anti-black bigotry

Tragedy is being used to advance an intersectionalist worldview that imagines US and Israel as common enemy of all oppressed people.

Following the killing in police custody of Minneapolis resident George Floyd, several radical Muslim American organizations have joined in nationwide protests to show solidarity with black civil-rights protests. However, Floyd’s death has sparked difficult conversations about black-Muslim relations, as well as the implicit racial biases found in some Arab and South Asian communities.

Rather than acknowledge anti-black bigotry, Chicago Islamists—many of them with a history of anti-black discrimination—have minimized and excused this abhorrent behavior while exploiting Floyd’s death to satisfy their own anti-Israel agenda.

A tale of two revolutions, and why America must be celebrated

The radical narrative that US is racist is rooted in a revisionist spirit that threatens rule of law, civilization and Jews.

By Jonathan S. Tobin

Manhattan, New York

In the view of those cheering on the efforts of the Black Lives Matter movement, this July 4 will be one less of celebration than of soul-searching and reassessment. Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the normal festivities were always going to be muted. But the brutal death of George Floyd on May 25 sent angry crowds of sometimes peaceful protesters into the streets seeking to topple monuments of not just Confederates, but also the nation’s Founding Fathers and a host of other historical figures who don’t measure up to the woke standards of the demonstrators.

As such, it is a deeply ominous sign that some advocates of the BLM movement, which has always been linked to anti-Semitic intersectional claims, are sometimes diverging from their usual arguments about racism to attacking Israel with blood libels. This week, one BLM march up Washington, D.C.’s Constitution Avenue, demonstrated its solidarity with a Palestinian “Day of Rage” by chanting, “Israel, we know you murder children too.”

PM at end of his rope with unity government, advisers say

The straw breaking Netanyahu’s back is the sovereignty issue, which now appears to be slipping through his fingers as he wages a last-ditch effort to salvage something of the historic initiative.

The public feud that erupted this week between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and alternate prime minister Benny Gantz was similar to the atmosphere that usually surrounds a government at the tail end of its term, when its end is already in sight. The difference is that this time we’re only six weeks into this government’s term, a long way from its designated end.

With every passing week, Netanyahu discovers he has lost another asset. His situation in the polls continues to be strong, contrary to Gantz, who continues to plummet. This gap is driving Netanyahu and his advisers crazy. People who spoke with him this week say he is at the end of his rope. The straw breaking the camel’s back, they say, is the sovereignty issue, which appears to be slipping between his fingers as he wages a last-ditch effort vis-a-vis the Americans to salvage something of the historic initiative.

From Israel: An Unmitigated Mess!!

July 1, 2020, was the day on which Israel was to begin application of sovereignty.

~~~~~~~~~~
But I have been tracking more than one unmitigated mess, and I want to first circle back briefly to that other enormous mess: in the US.
I provide for you here a link to an interview of Leo Terrell, a civil rights attorney of sterling reputation, forthrightly telling it like it is. He is grievously disappointed with the Democratic Party, and frustrated about the refusal of Democrats to call out the violence of rioters and Black Lives Matter. He addresses the rule of law and the patronizing attitude of the Democrats. He says “systemic discrimination does not exist.”
What he says is SO important. Because it comes from him – an attorney with 30 years of experience in the field and until recently a supporter of the Democrats – it carries weight. Please watch it and then share the link very broadly. Maybe some eyes will be opened.
STUNNING: Fauci’s Remdesivir Costs $9 Per Dose, Will Be Sold at $3,000 per Treatment — China Company Linked to Soros Will Also Mass Produce the Drug
U.S. Buys The World’s Supply Of Breakthrough Coronavirus Drug Remdesivir HOW COME?
By Jim Hoft, GATEWAY PUNDIT
The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (https://aapsonline.org) filed a lawsuit against Department of Health and Human Services and the FDA for “irrational interference” by the FDA with timely access to hydroxychloroquine.
Never in history have we seen such a determined effort by the scientific community and pharmaceutical industry to downplay and lie about the use of a successful drug to treat a deadly disease.
Hydroxychloroquine is the first choice in a study of 6,000 doctors treating the coronavirus.
It’s time to settle into the Jordan Valley
Little has changed since the first valley communities were founded in 1967, despite the broad ?consensus among the Israeli public that the valley is ours.
By Nadav Shragai, ISRAEL HAYOM
Whether Israel applies sovereignty to the Jordan Valley or not, the reality of Israel’s population there ?must be rectified, and urgently. The residents of the Jordan Valley, who have turned an arid, hot land ?into a modern agricultural powerhouse, planted with tens of thousands of acres of date groves, table ?grapes, vegetables, fruit, and herbs that are exported as far abroad as Europe, will testify to that. But ?the enormous area of the Jordan Valley Regional Council – 860,000 dunams (332 square miles) – is still ?sparsely populated by only 6,000 people spread over the 21 communities
There is a big difference between the ever-so-lofty declarations made throughout the years about this ?strip of land’s importance to Israel’s national security and the minimal settlement there. Even a ?declaration of sovereignty, important as it would be, will have a hard time overcoming that ?discrepancy. When it comes to the Jordan Valley, Israel has emphasized open spaces and territory, but ?neglected mass settlement. ?
Corona Days in Israel
By Victor Rosenthal
Recently the European Union announced that it would reopen its borders to visitors from some other countries. Israel was not on the list (neither was the US). Many Israelis reacted indignantly, but objectively our Coronavirus situation is not good.
On June 30, Israel marked the highest number of new cases of Coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, with 803 reported. After suceeding to extinguish the first wave with an economy-crushing lockdown, the re-opening was marred by some strategic mistakes, for which we are beginning to pay the price. Here is a graph of new cases per day:
BOZELL: The Real Story Of Black Lives Matter — Marxist, Anti-Family Radicals
By L. BRENT BOZELL July 01, 2020 11:15 AM ET
Black Lives Matter.
That rallying cry is now endorsed by millions of people, not just in the United States, but around the world. “By a 28-point margin, Civiqs finds that a majority of American voters support the movement,” according to The New York Times.
My guess is that 99 percent of those supporting this group have no idea what it stands for. All you shopkeepers putting signs in your stores, you schoolteachers programming your students to lock arms, you men and women of the cloth preaching about morality, you civic leaders urging community action and political leaders demanding legislative remedies — you give ignorant pawns a bad rap.
Black Lives Matter was founded by radical extremists who are perfectly pleased with the rioting, looting, vandalism and violence that have plagued our cities for the past several weeks.
There won’t be better conditions for sovereignty
Soon the stars aligned in Israel’s favor will scatter, and who knows when or if they will align again?
By Amir Avivi, ISRAEL HAYOM  07-01-2020
Leading up to July 1, the original target date for Israel’s planned announcement of sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and settlements in Judea and Samaria, a group of former IDF officers and security personnel who believe in extending sovereignty published an open letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling on him to demonstrate leadership and proceed to extend sovereignty and not listen to those who lack the courage and vision needed to make historic decisions.
Sadly, the greater the opportunity, the greater the numbers of those who oppose it. The long list of opponents, especially among senior military commanders, can be split in two. Some adhere to a plan of separation from the Palestinians and withdrawing to the ceasefire lines of 1949 and using the security barrier (Highway 6) as the basis of an international border. This would forgo any claims to sovereignty beyond the Green Line, or in other words, giving up our security and handing responsibility for it over to the Palestinians and the Jordanians, the ones who trumpet Arabs’ (nearly nonexistent) contribution to the security of Israel at every opportunity.
Obama admits it: Riots and protests are ‘tailor-made’ for electing Joe Biden
By Monica Showalter, AMERICAN THINKER
Joe Biden is hiding in his basement, but maybe that’s because the rabid-left looters, rioters, and protesters are carrying out his presidential campaign just fine for him.
What else can be concluded but that, given that President Obama has cynically admitted that the civil unrest covering the U.S. is “tailor-made” for electing Joe Biden?
Here’s a report from National Review:
Former President Barack Obama told aides this month that the nationwide protests following the death of George Floyd are “a tailor-made moment” to help his former vice president Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump in November.
According to a New York Times story based on interviews with more than 50 Obama confidants, the former president was made anxious after riots and looting rocked many American cities in the days following Floyd’s death and Trump began trumpeting “law and order” in response.
US seeking Israeli gesture toward Palestinians to offset annexation — TV report
T. Belman. As I have maintained, the Plan is only a vision and the boundaries of the potential statelet will be open for negotiations.  It makes sense to liberate the enclaves.  But that is a separate issue from the extension of Israeli law to the Jordan valley which should take place, regardless.  The next week is crucial.
Among ideas floated would be redefining some Area C lands as Area B; Israel said to present edited version of Trump map that addresses enclaves
The Trump administration is reportedly pushing Israel to offer the Palestinians some sort of compensation in exchange for the unilateral annexation of some of the West Bank land they want for their future state.
Among the ideas is transferring an area to the Palestinians where they can build without limits, or redefining some Area C lands, where Israel maintains full control, as Area B, where Palestinians have civil control, Channel 12 reported Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Kan public broadcaster reported that Israeli officials have passed along to the White House a slightly edited version of the Trump peace plan’s conceptual map that better connects a group of at least 15 isolated settlements to the rest of the West Bank territory the proposal envisions Israel annexing.
Jordan Will Gain Nothing From Confrontation Against Israel
By Erielle Davidson, JINSA Senior Policy Analyst
One of the greater concerns over Israel’s application of sovereignty to the Jordan Valley is that the move will undermine mutually beneficial Israeli-Jordanian cooperation. Jordan’s King Abdullah II has substantiated some of the worry, declaring earlier this year that if Israel follows through on its plans with respect to the Jordan Valley, it will result in a “massive” confrontation with the Hashemite Kingdom. Others have expressed the possibility that such a move on the part of the Israeli government would jeopardize the Israeli-Jordanian peace treaty.
Though applying Israeli sovereignty to the Jordan Valley poses some risk to Israel’s relations with Jordan, it is unlikely that Jordan will gain much from jeopardizing its productive partnerships with both Israel and the United States.
When discussing Israeli-Jordanian relations, it’s important to note that there is a sizeable gap between how Jordan postures itself publicly vis-a-vis Israel in order to placate its Palestinian population and how it conducts itself privately in its relations with the Jewish state. Jordan has benefited considerably from the fact it is one of just two Arab nations to maintain diplomatic relations with Israel.
There is no scientific data that shows Masks save lives, so why vote for Biden who would dictate that we all wear them?
By Jack Hellner, AMERICAN THINKER
If Joe Biden is elected, the wearing of a mask in public will mandatory, nationwide.
“The one thing we do know is these masks make a gigantic difference. I would insist that everybody out in public be wearing that mask. Anyone to reopen would have to make sure that they walked into a business that had masks,” Biden told CNN’s affiliate in Pittsburgh, KDKA, while wearing a black mask.
Pressed if he’d use federal power to mandate wearing a mask in public, Biden responded, “Yes, I would. From an executive standpoint, yes I would.”
Sovereignty in the Jordan Valley must come first
Historic decisions may require careful consideration, but they also require courage and determination.
By Nadav Shragai, ISRAEL HAYOM
Is Israel really hesitating to grab the opportunity presented by the “deal of the century”? There are troubling signs that this might be the case.
First, the plan to apply sovereignty to large parts of Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley involved 30% of the territory. Then came the idea of extending sovereignty in phases – a bad idea that only invites round of violence and terrorism. Now, it appears we’ve sunk even lower, as Arab officials have said that the sovereignty bid will exclude the Jordan Valley, and any move made in Judea and Samaria will only be symbolic.
Historic decisions may require careful consideration, but they also require courage and determination.
