Vermont Supreme Court Sacrifices Children to Big Pharma

Peloni:  It is a deep sickness which abandons the duty of adults to protect children from this harmful injection.  The moral, ethical, and rational abandoment of the young provides then American totalitarians with the means to introduce significant risks to those who would otherwise face no risk.  Indeed, no healthy child has any serious risk from Covid, but the same can not be made regarding these shots.  Profit and power displaces the standard of evidence based medicine and the precautionary principle, and the ones who will pay for this aberration of ethics and reason will be the children.

| Brownstone Institute | August 14, 2024

A controversial Vermont Supreme Court decision reached the rather astonishing conclusion that the government can vaccinate very young children with experimental products without parental consent or legal recourse. The ruling is surreal in a state that claims it prizes individual liberties. If not overturned by sane minds in the US Supreme Court, the consequences of this shortsighted, simplistic opinion may prove profound for American civil rights law.

Blinken: Wrong. Negotiating with Hamas Ruined the Last Chance to End the Gaza War

Peloni: Appeasement can never be the answer, because such capitulation will only serve to strengthen the enemy while it weakens ourselves.  Unfortunately, realignment towards America’s enemy Iran is more important than standing with its ally Israel for Blinken and this Iranian aligned administration.

by Michael Rubin | The Washington ExaminerAugust 21, 2024

Secretary of State Antony Blinken smells like desperation. After meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for more than two hours, Blinken said the current proposal to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and win the release of Hamas-held hostages is “maybe the last” opportunity.

The World Ushered In By Woodrow Wilson

Jeffrey A. Tucker | August 22, 2024

These days, you can easily find signs of panic about the status of career public servants and their future. They are said to be hated by the public, targeted by political enemies, hounded by the courts. You can count on reliable allies in academia and media willing to testify that the attacks are unfair, undemocratic, even dangerous. This debate is being had not just in the United States but all over Europe and Latin America too, with the defenders and critics of administrative rule pitted against one another.

Fear and Brisket for Jews at the DNC

Peloni:  The fact that any American Jew would submit to such requirements as meeting in secret to demonstrate their affiliation with an organization, whose brute squads are the cause for them to have to hide in the first place, demonstrates a serious pathology of the mind.  This example of Stockholm Syndrome is very sad, very troubling, and yet, very revealing.  I hope that the majority of American Jews take the fact of this matter to heart, and realize that the Democratic party, which they seem to believe defines them, has no interest in providing them with safety, liberty, nor equality, all of which are the basis for which govt is intended to exist, and for ALL Americans.

Jewish delegates at the DNC have to meet in hiding.

Daniel Greenfield | August 23, 2024

“As the highest-ranking Jewish official in American history, I want my grandkids and all grandkids to never, never face discrimination because of who they are,” Senator Schumer concluded his speech. “But Donald Trump. This is a guy who peddles antisemitic stereotypes.”

Meanwhile Jewish Democrats were literally hiding out at the DNC.

Israeli Presence on the Philadelphi Corridor Is Vital

Brig.-Gen. (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser | August 22, 2024

Institute for Contemporary Affairs, Founded jointly with the Wechsler Family Foundation, Vol. 24, No. 16

  • The Israeli military presence along the Philadelphi Corridor between Gaza and Egypt is essential to ensure that Hamas will face considerable difficulties in its expected efforts to reconstruct and resupply its terror enterprise in Gaza. The closure will hamper its ability to smuggle in weaponry, personnel, and even vehicles and funds from Egypt through the vast network of tunnels they constructed under the corridor, through the Rafah border crossing itself, and via other routes.

Supreme Court partly grants GOP request to enforce Arizona’s proof-of-citizenship voting law

The Arizona measure, enacted in 2022 but never enforced, would impose new requirements on people registering to vote and could affect thousands of voters.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday partly granted a request from the Republican National Committee to make Arizona enforce measures requiring people to show proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote.

In what is likely to be one of many election-related disputes to come before the court ahead of the November election, the justices allowed for one of three provisions of the state law to be enforced.

The vote was 5-4 on allowing limited enforcement of the law with conservative justices in the majority. One conservative, Justice Amy Coney Barrett, joined the three liberal justices in dissent. The court, in a brief order, did not explain its reasoning.

Rafah is the last Hamas stronghold

Only by gaining control – military and civil – over all of Hamas’ operation centers can the terror organization that controls Gaza be toppled

Brigadier General (res.) Amir Avivi | August 21, 2024

Khan Younis became their alternative government center after Gaza City

To this day Hamas regards Khan Younis as one of its key centers and therefore it built an alternative government center there. This is precisely the reason that when the IDF began operations in Gaza City, Hamas had no problem withdrawing and regrouping in Khan Younis and directing the battle from there.

The United States Navy is in Serious Decline

Peloni:  This describes a very difficult crisis in the US Navy, the remedy for which will require significant funding and years to enact.

Morning Intelligence Report

MG Paul E Vallely, US Army (Ret)

By Captain (USN, Ret) Brent Ramsey | August 21, 2024

Guest Editorial

Since 2017, I have written about the decline of the U.S. Navy. We have far fewer ships than we need to defend America. The shipbuilding industry is struggling to produce an ever-decreasing number of ships. Even if Congress appropriated more funds, the shipbuilding industry cannot provide more vessels faster. Ships are late in delivery and beset with problems.  We have advanced weaponry that works well, as proved by recent use in the Middle East, but far too few to last in a sustained conflict. Our enemies overseas see weakness and become bolder. As good as our missiles are, ships carry limited numbers. Experts warn that we will run out of missiles far sooner than we will run out of targets. A third of our ships at any given time are not ready for sea due to maintenance issues.

The coming calamity of Kamala’s candidacy

A cackling candidate is strange, but her changing policies are even more so.

Joan Swirsky | August 20, 2024

When my twin brother and I were children, we had a magical machine called a Victrola. We were able to put 33 and 45 and 78 records––I never learned what those numbers stood for––on the turntable and place the handle with the needle on each record to listen to the music we loved.

But every now and then, the needle, if not perfectly placed, would scratch the record, and that would result in the music being unable to go forward. I remember it once got stuck on Oh What a Beautiful Morning from the musical “Oklahoma,” and all we heard on an endless loop was morning, morning, morning, morning….

RFK to Endorse Trump

Peloni:  This is an important victory.  Hopefully it will be enough to defeat the election fraud which is mounting for November’s election.

RFK Jr. plans to end presidential campaign, will endorse Trump over Harris

Earlier in the day, Nicole Shanahan, RFK’s runningmate stated that she supports RFK endorsing Trump, who she described as sincere, but that RFK would make that decision:

Iran’s Ayatollahs bully the US

The are doing that by destabilizing Saudi Arabia which is already frustrated by the US State Department’s attitude towards Iran.

Ambassador (ret.) Yoram Ettinger is author of “Second Thought: a US-Israel Initiative”  bit.ly/4dzWi9V

Since the February 1979 Ayatollahs’ Islamic Revolution – which transformed Iran from “America’s policeman in the Gulf” to the epicenter of anti-US terrorism – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has attempted to erode the US strategic posture, regionally and globally, including Latin America. Thus, the IRGC has agitated and radicalized the Shiite communities in the pro-US, oil-producing, Sunni Arab countries, while training Shiite terrorists and providing them weapons and explosives. The IRGC has focussed on Bahrain and Saudi Arabia (Bahrain’s patron), and especially on Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, which is the home of the bulk of Saudi oil reserves, as well as, the main Saudi refinery and export terminal of Ras Tanura, where the Shiites – who are a 20% minority in Saudi Arabia – constitute a majority. Moreover, the Ayatollahs claim title to the major offshore Al-Durra oil and natural gas field, currently controlled by Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Winning the World’s Hearts and Minds

by Victor Rosenthal | August 21, 2024

Israel is losing (some even say she has already irrevocably lost) the information war that is being waged in parallel with the kinetic one that she has been engaged in since 1948, but especially since 7 October 2023. The usual suggestions are technical: spend more money, react more quickly to enemy propaganda, utilize social media more effectively, and so on. All of these are worth doing, but there is one factor that is even more important than all of them together, and it is both simpler and more difficult. There are four paradoxes that can be found in our situation that expose it.

Pogrom at Kibbutz Be’eri: Jews Under Fire

by Nils A. Haug  •  August 21, 2024

Kibbutz Be’eri is one of 22 Israeli towns and villages that were attacked on October 7, 2023. At the kibbutzim and surrounding areas, a total of around 1,200 people were murdered (including 36 children), thousands more wounded, and more than 250 other abducted (including 30 children) — Jews and non-Jews, Israelis and foreigners, males and females, young and old, civilians and soldiers. It was purposed slaughter, a repeat of the massacres in the shtetls of Europe. Pictured: Covered bodies in front of a destroyed house in Kibbutz Be’eri, photographed on October 11, 2023. “As word came that murderous hordes were approaching, the Jews attempted to flee. Those who could not, barricaded themselves indoors and prayed for a miracle.”

The Five-State Solution?

By Sha’i ben-Tekoa | August 20, 2024

Conservative Jews who support Israel are known to complain that, while the League of Nations created a jurisdiction called “Palestine” in 1922 to give life to the Balfour Declaration of 1917, the League wound up giving 77% to the Arabs (i.e., what became in 1946 the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan). This narrative is true according to the League’s map of Palestine—except that map is a fraud, and we know that by comparing it to maps of “Palestine” as it was known before World War I. However, there’s much more to the story of who’s occupying what land.

Louis Rene Beres takes Tactical Nuclear Weapons out of the basement and puts them on the table

By Ted Belman

On June 28, 2024, Louis Rene Beres posted an article to which I responded, telling him “Col Macgregor raised the possiblity of the use of TNW” and and I asked him what he thought. He raised all kinds of complications in doing so. He looked apon this as preemption and argued that the Rules of War are between States. I argued that Iran is a state and Hezbollah is just an extension.

I also argued that if Hezbollah started attacking Israeli cities, Israel would have a carte blanche to use TNW on Hezbollah to totally totally destry them and their rockets. So it would not be a preemptive action. It would be part of an ongoing war and justified by the Right of Self-Defense. He appears to have taken my advice and said so in the JNS article which may be found here:

https://www.jns.org/possible-advantages-of-a-preemptive-strike-on-iran/

Better late then never.

I also argued that Israel should pre-emptively attack Iran ands destoy all the oil facilities thereby reducing their revenue with which they support their proxies and hit anything else that comes to mind.
