Negotiating teams from the Opposition and Coalition who have been meeting at the president’s residence for talks aimed at reaching an agreement on judicial reform have made significant progress towards a deal, according to a report Wednesday morning.
A report by Reshet Bet said that the two sides have reach an accord over two key issues: the future use by courts of the reasonableness standard, and the status of ministerial legal advisors.

MK Simcha Rothman with Justice Minister LevinYonatan Sindel/Flash90
Chairman of the Knesset’s Constitution Committee MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionist Party) called on the government Tuesday morning to move forward with the judicial reform plan, even if no deal can be reached with the Opposition regarding a compromise.
Speaking with Radio 103FM, Rothman blamed Opposition lawmakers for the deadlocked talks, adding that while he hopes an agreement is reached, the government must move forward with the overhaul regardless of the outcome of the talks.
T. Belman. This is another example of the left refusing to accept the results of the last election. It will go to any means to prevent the passing of the budget this month. I expect the protests to increase over the next two weeks to make it every so difficult for this government to rule.
“If passed, the Arnona Fund law would appropriate between 10% to 28% of commercial property taxes raised by municipalities, with higher income communities paying a higher rate, to support a fund which would subsidize lower income communities to encourage them to build more housing units.”
This transfer of funds from the rich communities to the poorer ones is a good policy. It will lower the cost of housing for all and will serve to decentralize Israel and support the outlining communities which everyone in Israel wants.

This open border disaster is not a “Johnny-come-lately” story. It is a plan that was created many decades ago by leftist radicals intent on destroying America.
I should know: I was there. I am a witness.
I am a blue-collar S.O.B. (son of a butcher) from the wrong side of the tracks: a poor, majority-black town on the Bronx borderline. I attended almost all-black middle school and high school in Mount Vernon, New York. After I graduated valedictorian, I was accepted at prestigious Ivy League Columbia University.
Never forget how wrong they were on virtually everything concerning COVID-19. From lockdowns, to masks, social distancing, testing, vaccines, and so on, the American left — especially those in the media, education, and the Democrat Party — got almost everything on COVID wrong. (For a litany of information on all things COVID, see here (2020), here (2021), here (2022), and here (2023).
Additionally, as the video below highlights, whether media leftists, or Democrats, the COVID-19 zealots slanderously accused the unvaccinated of numerous healthcare “sins.” The likes of Mika Brzezinski, Don Lemon, Stephen Colbert, Whoopi Goldberg, Howard Stern, Joy Reid, et al called the unvaccinated “lunatics” who are “killing people.” The unvaccinated were told, “You are the problem,” and were “not to be trusted.”

Nearly 1400 years ago, a large number of Muslim jihadists from across the scorching Arabian desert, motivated by the ideology of Islam, indoctrinated by Muhammad, unafraid of death, conquered Iran (Persia), one of the greatest, strongest and most tolerant empires known throughout the history of man. The invasion of Persia was completed five years after the death of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, though Persian resistance continued for centuries up to and including the present time. (Most Iranians consider the current Islamic regime as the continuation of 1400 years of Islamic tyranny and oppression).

During emotional press conference in Tel Aviv, Reza Pahlavi says Israel and Iran can be ‘strategic partners’ and that majority of Iranians ‘think differently’ from regime. 19 April 2023,Caroline Glick and others are calling for Israel to commit to regime change in Iran .rather than just destroying their nuclear facilities.

The streets of Tehran were awash with people, their chants and slogans echoing across the city. “Reza Reza Pahlavi! Reza Reza Pahlavi!” they shouted, as they marched towards the parliament building.
Among the crowd were three friends, Payam, Zohreh, and Zubin. They had grown up together, gone to school together, and now, they were protesting together. As they walked, they discussed the events of the day, their hopes, and their fears.

Citizens across Turkey are heading to the polls on Sunday in what may prove to be a historic election. According to pundits and polls, the opposition holds a slight lead over current President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has held the position for nearly a decade, holding the office of Prime Minister beforehand. Israel National News spoke about the reason for the possible change of power, the chances of reaching true results, and the ideas of the opposition with Dr. Nimrod Goren, a Turkey expert who is spending election day in Istanbul and has felt the sentiment on the streets of Turkey from up close.

Huge columns of the finest white marble found on the seafloor by Israel from 1,800 years agoCredit: The underwater archaeology unit at the Israel Antiquities Authority
Having a nice springtime swim off the central Israeli coast as he does every morning, Gideon Harris saw huge stone columns lying on the seabed. He did the right thing and called the authorities, who were monumentally unsurprised. The Israel Antiquities Authority had known for years about the ancient shipwreck off Bait Yanai, a moshav (agricultural community) six kilometers north of Netanya. They even assumed it was from Roman times and knew that it bore a cargo of marble items.

Once a bastion of Western influence in the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia may be shifting its allegiance toward the East. Tired of Washington’s wavering support, the Saudis are warming to China. Still, it is not clear Beijing can replace Washington.

T. Belman. It used to be that when PIJ attacked, Israel would hold Hamas responsible. Why not now?
INSS Insight No. 1724, May 15, 2023

Another exchange of blows in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Islamic Jihad ended with Egyptian mediation. Israel once again initiated a military operation, seizing an opportunity to attack senior Islamic Jihad figures, while allowing Hamas, which in practice rules the Gaza Strip, to avoid responsibility for what occurs there. Militarily, Israel saw operational success, both offensively and defensively. However, politically, Israel allowed Hamas to set the rules of the game, continue to enjoy the fruits of its arrangement with Israel, and emerge stronger at the end of this round of fighting.
Try this: Trump’s popularity and national fatigue with leftist outcomes — transgender beer, rampant crime, invasion of illegals — and America has enough and gives Trump more votes than the other guy in 2024 — obvious to all.
Then, the election is stolen!
The Trump campaign focuses on not getting screwed with ballot-harvesting — blind to the dozen other forms of fraud coming their way.

(JNS) When Russia invaded Ukraine last year, Western governments, international organizations, media and human rights groups quite rightly rallied round without hesitation, recognizing the need to give unreserved moral support to a nation defending itself from violent attack.
We saw a very different picture last week as Israel was assaulted by aggressors in Gaza, to all intents and purposes a foreign country.
