The Radwan Unit is Capable of Carrying Out an Invasion of the Galilee at Any Given Moment

By Tal Beeri, ALMA REC  29 NOV 2023

Logo of Hezbollah’s specialized force they call “Radwan”

For the past two years, it seems that Hezbollah has been preparing for a confrontation in the north. We have written and published quite a bit about it. In the summer of 2022, in the final stages of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon on the maritime agreement, the name of the Radwan unit made headlines, since its operatives were put on alert and deployed, openly and unusually, in static positions along the border with Israel under the familiar cover of the “Green Without Borders” association. Radwan Unit operatives joined operatives of Hezbollah’s geographic units “Nasser” and “Aziz,” which are permanently stationed adjacent to the border with Israel.

Some Ideas Are Worth Destroying

Like that of ISIS, Hamas’s idea is a genocidal, imperialist one, which must be eviscerated if we are to live in peace.

By David Hazony, JEWISH JOURNAL  30 Nov 2023

“Hamas is an idea, and you can’t destroy an idea.”

This is one of the most pervasive bromides emerging in the last month from both pro-Hamas apologists and a wide range of well-meaning commentators and analysts grappling with the complexities of the war.

Yet it is not only false, but also exceedingly dangerous.

Genocidal Hatred of Jews and the West

by Guy Millière, GATESTONE November 29, 2023

  • Many Muslims living in the West remain under the influence of Islamist movements and the hatred of Israel and Jews that permeates their countries of origin. Hatred of Jews and Israel is therefore markedly present in Muslim communities in the West.
  • In the 1960s, when the Soviet Union wanted to gain more influence in the Arab Muslim world, its leaders decided to support what was at the time a sacred cause for Arab leaders: the attempt to destroy Israel. They… chose to invent a “national liberation struggle”…. The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was founded in 1964 with the task of “liberating Palestine,” and the borders of “Palestine” on the maps used by the PLO showed that the goal was to erase Israel from the face of the earth.

The Death of the Old Europe—and the Rise of the Right

Geert Wilders’ landslide victory in the Netherlands has shocked Europe. It didn’t shock Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Evelyn Markus.

By Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Evelyn Markus, FREE PRESS   November 29, 2023

Europe is in shock. Geert Wilders—variously called “far-right,” an “anti-Islamist populist,” and the Dutch Donald Trump—won last Wednesday’s election in the Netherlands. His party is now the biggest in the Dutch parliament. For years, Wilders has been an outcast, considered too toxic by mainstream politics and too extreme by the overwhelmingly liberal media. And yet he has won—and not by a small margin.

Israel has never been allowed to win a war!

Israel must destroy Hamas for its own sake and to preserve its credibility as ally of Sunni states in their conflict with Iran.

By Dr. Michael Wise, INN     Dec 1, 2023, 12:06 PM (GMT+2)

Victory in a war requires either a peace treaty, unconditional surrender, or totally neutralizing the enemy. The World heretofore has not permitted an Israel victory. The fact that Israel has been prevented from ever winning a war has encouraged its enemies to try try and try again! Ending wars with armistices, ceasefires and pauses guarantees that the next war will be around the corner.

The 1947-48 War of Independence ended in series of ceasefire agreements with Egypt (Rhodes, February 1949), Lebanon (Rosh ha-Nikrah, March 1949), Jordan (Rhodes, April 1949), and Syria (Ma?anayim, July 1949). No Peace Agreements, no recognition of Israeli victory, just Green Lines, Blue Lines, and No lines.

Aharon Haliva has got to go. Now.

T. Belman. Glick connects Halevi to the “10-month insurgency the Israeli left waged against the Netanyahu government. That insurgency was led by Haliva’s family. His ex-wife and the mother of his children, Shira Margalit, is married to Ilan Shiloah, a senior advertising executive. Margalit and Shiloah stood behind much of the political unrest that Israel has experienced since last year. Haliva’s daughter spoke at anti-government protests. His son’s twitter feed is filled with anti-Netanyahu invective.”

An intelligence chief who publicly rejects the government’s characterization of a war, whose poor professional judgment led to catastrophe and who has a history of contemptuous insubordination simply cannot be trusted. Op-ed.

  Nov 30, 2023, 11:18 AM (GMT+2)

(JNS) Immediately after the blackest day in Israeli history, a consensus formed that we must wait until after the war to investigate how Hamas was able to invade the country, slaughter 1,200 innocents and get away with 240 hostages. There’s a lot to recommend this position.

We’re at war. Now is not the time for action, not recrimination and trials for failed generals, security chiefs and politicians. Good or bad, you go to war with the army and leaders you have. People have jobs to do, and our job is to let them do theirs.

Rejection of the UN Partition Plan of November 29, 1947, Was a Prequel to the October 7 Massacre

By Lt.-Col. (res.) Maurice Hirsch, JCPA,29 Nov 2023

Tel Aviv crowds celebrated the UN’s vote for partition on November 29, 1947

November 29 – on this day in 1947, the newly formed United Nations General Assembly voted to alter the provisions of the 1922 League of Nations Mandate for Palestine and divide Israel into two entities: a Jewish state and an Arab state. While the representatives of the Jews expressed their support for the plan, the representatives of the Arabs rejected the decision, refusing to accept the creation of a Jewish state within any boundaries. The events of the October 7 massacre, in which all the Palestinian terror organizations, including Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), and Fatah et al. participated, demonstrate that nothing has changed in 76 years.

Senior US lawmakers review plan linking Gaza refugee resettlement to US aid to Arab countries

The proposal, which reportedly has support from senior officials in both parties, calls on the US to condition foreign aid to Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, and Turkey on those countries accepting a certain number of refugees.

By Ariel Kahana, ISRAEL HAYOM  29 Nov 2023

A new initiative submitted to the US Congress calls for conditioning American aid to Arab countries on their willingness to receive refugees from Gaza, Israel Hayom has learned.

The proposal was shown to key figures in the House and Senate from both parties. Longtime lawmaker, Rep. Joe Wilson, has even expressed open support for it while others who were privy to the details of the text have so far kept a low profile, saying that publicly coming out in favor of the program could derail it.

Biden is the primary obstacle to Israeli victory

Polling shows that the overwhelming majority of Americans support Israel in this war and want it to destroy Hamas; the overwhelming majority of lawmakers from both parties share that view.

(JNS) The time has come to discuss the Biden administration’s relationship with Israel. With each passing day, two things become obvious. First, Israel cannot fight the war without U.S. resupply of the Israel Defense Forces. As a consequence, Israel is beholden to the administration’s directives. And second, if Israel follows the Biden administration’s directives, it will lose the war.

Israel’s dependence on the United States was stated bluntly by retired IDF Maj. General Yitzhak Brick in an interview earlier this week.

Judge Rules Contents of Seth Rich Laptop Must Be Released…

Peloni: The breaking news is that the contents of the Seth Rich laptop will be turned over within fourteen days.  The rest of the article describes what is known of the circumstances surrounding Rich’s murder, and how it potentially ties into the Mueller probe, the Durham investigation and many key political Washington figures on both sides of the isle.  A great refresher by Sundance for those unfamiliar with the details of the case.

Potentially Important, but the Deep State Interests Are Massive

By Sundance, LAST REFUGE Nov 29/23

If you know the background context, the latest developments in the Seth Rich laptop legal battle could be extremely interesting.  However, despite a very favorable court ruling, I caution against too much optimism – the stakes in this ancillary story to the targeting of President Donald Trump are extremely high.

White House not seeking conditions on military aid to Israel, says senator

T. Belman. This title and the article are misleading.

By JACOB MAGID, TOI

After the Biden administration appeared to leave open the possibility that the US might condition aid to Israel in the future, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told lawmakers this week that the White House isn’t seeking conditions on the aid for Jerusalem that it is asking Congress to pass.

Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen, who was among lawmakers who met privately with Sullivan on Tuesday, tells The Associated Press that Sullivan “made it clear that the White House is not asking for any conditionality in aid. So I want to leave that very clear.” A second person directly familiar with the meeting confirmed the account.

Deradicalizing Gaza

The Gazans must be made to accept the fact that the Jewish people are the indigenous inhabitants of the Holy Land.

By  Jason Shvili, ISRAEL HAYOM  29 Nov 2023

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has previously said, once Hamas has been eliminated in the Gaza Strip, the territory and its residents will need to be deradicalized. But deradicalized how? The short answer is that Gaza will need to be deradicalized the same way Germany was de-Nazified after World War II.

Gazan society will need to be rebuilt from the ground up. For starters, all symbols of the territory’s previous rulers must be banned, just as Nazi symbols like the swastika were banned in post-WWII Germany. The territory’s media and education system will need to be purged of antisemitism and the glorification of terrorism. Instead of being taught to hate and kill Jews, the Gazans must receive a constant flow of messaging promoting peace and coexistence with the Jewish people and Israel. They must be taught that their future ultimately depends on living side-by-side with their Jewish neighbors.

Military Intelligence Directorate head to resign due to Oct. 7 massacre, takes responsibility

The night after the attack, he was excluded from the conversation between the generals and the Chief of Staff, and was only updated afterwards.

By Amir Bohbot/Walla!, JPOST  29 Nov 2023

IDF Military Intelligence commander Aharon Haliva in Tel Aviv, November 4, 2022

IDF Military Intelligence Directorate Chief Aharon Haliva believed that following the events of October 7, his tenure in office was on borrowed time.

“Already that morning I understood that it was over,” he told his associates: “After the war is over I will have to go.”

Now, all that remains for Haliva is to figure out when he intends to retire, whether it be after Israel officially announces the end of the war, or before there is any sort of permanent ceasefire and the army switches to a method of raid operations only.

Liberman: The war is being led by the ‘concept coalition’

Yisrael Beytenu chairman criticizes conduct of the War Cabinet, Chief of Staff and the head of the Shin Bet.

By Yedidya Shalman, INN      Nov 29, 2023, 6:46 AM (GMT+2)

Avigdor LibermanYonatan Sindel/Flash 90

Yisrael Beytenu chairman MK Avigdor Liberman spoke to Arutz Sheva-Israel National News on Tuesday and criticized the conduct of the political echelon and defense establishment in the face of the violations by Hamas of the ceasefire agreement brokered by Qatar.

There is something here that is really unacceptable. There is a continuation of the same concept – the same attitude of containment. They shot at IDF soldiers today, detonated explosives on them and there is no response. All this is also added to the news about a clause in the deal which says that the representatives of the Red Cross will visit the hostages who have not been released, and I see no sign of that. All the time the other side initiates, dictates our moves, and that’s how they manage to make a laughingstock of us and we follow them and do not initiate anything,” claimed Liberman.

Germany freezes aid for UNRWA in Gaza, amid internal review

UNRWA building in the Rafah area of the southern Gaza Strip.

The wide German support for freezing funds came in light of findings that Palestinian learning materials were used to teach hate, glorify jihad and antisemitism

The German Development Ministry announced its entire aid budget to United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) operations in Gaza will continue to be frozen, until further notice, as a result of its internal review of its Palestinian aid portfolio.

Officer who reviewed intelligence considered risk of big attack ‘an imaginary scenario’, leak suggests

     Tue 28 Nov 2023 09.11 EST

Israel’s military and intelligence officials were given a highly detailed warning that Hamas was actively training to take over kibbutzim on the Gaza border and overrun military posts with the aim of inflicting substantial fatalities, according to reports in the Israeli media.

The claim made by Israel’s Channel 12 on Monday evening was based on leaked emails from the Israeli military’s 8200 cyber-intelligence unit discussing the warnings.

Those emails revealed that a senior officer who reviewed the intelligence considered the danger of a massive surprise attack by Hamas across the Gaza border to be “an imaginary scenario”.
