It Is Time Biden Publicly Acknowledged This Is Iran’s Mullahs’ War Against Israel and the United States

by Majid Rafizadeh, GATESTONE  •  November 11, 2023 at 5:00 am

  • Sadly, the Biden administration has yet to come out and publicly acknowledge Iran’s role in Hamas’s October 7 invasion of Israel, in which the terrorist group murdered over 1,400 Israelis and at least 31 Americans, and wounded over 4,500 Israelis. Hamas also abducted more than 240 people and took them back to Gaza, where they are being held as hostages.
  • Iran provides roughly $100 million a year to Palestinian terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and $700 million a year to Hezbollah.

INTO THE FRAY: Gaza-A gigantic shift in the Overton Window

The Overton window is an approach to identifying the ideas that define the spectrum of acceptability of governmental policies. It says politicians can act only within the acceptable range. Shifting the Overton window involves proponents of policies outside the window persuading the public to expand the window.

What once was unthinkable is now moving to the center of mainstream thought

Consideration should be given even to the heroic remedy of transfer of populations…the hardship of moving is great, but it is [still] less than the constant suffering of minorities and the constant recurrence of war.” Former US President Herbert Hoover–“Great Humanitarian”, in The Problems of Lasting Peace

The abandonment of the Gaza belt settlements has shown unequivocally that there will eventually be either Jews in the Negev or Arabs in Gaza – but not both. That is the brutal choice facing Israel’s decision-makers – the true “day-after” dilemma—The War in Gaza, Jerusalem Post, Nov. 11, 2014.

Israel isn’t struggling in Gaza. It’s winning a rapid victory

Analysts predicted that Hamas would inflict terrible casualties on the IDF. They were wrong

By

The Israel Defence Forces have been attacking Hamas in Gaza from land, sea and air for two weeks now, following a three-week air campaign. Before ground operations began, US military advisers urged the Israelis not to launch a large-scale campaign, which they believed would result in an IDF bloodbath – and be less effective than a combination of air strikes and special forces raids. The IDF rejected that advice, and moved into Gaza with a large combined arms force. And it has confounded its critics.

Israel-Hamas War: IDF Says It Needs Months,

By Amos Harel, HAARETZ

The war in Gaza entered its 35th day this morning, November 10 – one day more than the 2006 Lebanon war, which at the time was described as a frustrating stalemate in which Israel found it difficult to vanquish the enemy, Hezbollah. The circumstances this time, in a war that is currently focused on Hamas, are harder.

Israel went into the war with a terrible deficit, as a result of a harrowing intelligence and preparedness failure on October 7. By the time the Israel Defense Forces recovered and started to fight back effectively, nearly 1,200 Israelis had already been killed and about 240 abducted in Hamas’ murderous terrorist onslaught. Since then, all that has been done, and will be done, is comparable to a desperate attempt to pursue a foe that has already turned on the burners and is speeding ahead.

He notes the dozens of kids abducted and held by “animals,” vowing: “We won’t stop the fighting until we get them back. What father stops looking for their children? I see them as my own kids.”

Biden Keeps the Billions Flowing to Iran

Choosing not to enforce oil sanctions finances Tehran’s terrorism.

You’d think the Biden Administration would have realized by now that enriching the Iranian regime is a dangerous mistake. You’d be wrong. Relaxed U.S. enforcement of oil sanctions continued through October, refilling Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s coffers even after the Oct. 7 slaughter and the more than 40 attacks on U.S. troops by Iran’s proxies in the weeks since.

Senators Demand Israel Be Given Time to Defeat Hamas

By  Jewish Press Staff

In a bipartisan show of solidarity, U.S. Senators and Congressmen from across the political spectrum expressed their absolute support for Israel and for it to be given full backing to defeat Hamas at an event on Tuesday to move forward with legislation to celebrate the U.S. – Israel relationship by minting commemorative coins featuring former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir. The event was arranged to be held exactly 30 days since the massacre of Israelis on October 7th.

Just whose side is America really on?

Biden’s early support for Israel is turning into something more ominous.

By MELANIE PHILLIPS

(November 9, 2023 / JNS) Soon after the Hamas pogrom on Oct. 7, the United States sent two aircraft carriers, additional land-based warplanes, and eventually, a guided-missile submarine to the region. This was said to be a “clear message of deterrence” to Hezbollah and its patron Iran, warning them not to escalate the ensuing war between Israel and Hamas by attacking Israel from southern Lebanon.

With 150,000 precision-guided missiles embedded in Lebanon’s civilian population and able to target the whole of Israel, Hezbollah poses a vastly greater threat to Israel than Hamas.

Ceasefire? Not on our lives

Was there any pause when the US decimated Fallujah and Mosul? Is the UN demanding ceasefire in Papua? Myanmar? No ceasefire, no pause.Op-ed.

By Michael L. Wise, INN     Nov 10, 2023, 8:40 AM (GMT+2)

Unconditional surrender by Hamas is the only humanitarian path now available to save its population, but Hamas doesn’t care about its population.. Rejected by Hamas, the irreversible outcome will be the total destruction of Hamas and remaining infrastructure in Gaza.

Hamas boasts that Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City “hosts” 55,000 human shields. Committing war crimes by using civilians as human shields will not protect the Hamas terrorists. These “shields” are held captive by Hamas and not permitted to travel a few miles to safety to Raffiah in southern Gaza even though Israel protects a corridor it erected so that they can flee.

Avigdor Liberman to ‘Post’: This is what Israel should do in Gaza

No more crossings and no more supplying, he says. But first of all, Hamas leaders need to be eliminated, and those who are abroad remain legitimate targets. 14:53

By SETH J. FRANTZMAN, JPOST

Yisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Liberman has been warning about the Hamas threat for two decades. The former defense minister sat down with The Jerusalem Post at his office in the Knesset this week to discuss what Israel should do in Gaza, a month after the October 7 massacre that started it all.
“It was clear to me that such a radical religious jihadist movement is a real threat for our future and existence, and in our 2009 coalition agreement, at our insistence, one of the main clauses was to eliminate Hamas rule in Gaza,” he said.

Benjamin Netanyahu: We will continue until Hamas is eradicated

“We don’t seek to govern Gaza, we don’t seek to occupy it, but we seek to give it and us a better future, and the entire Middle East…

What we have to see is Gaza de-militarized, de-radicalized, and rebuilt.  And all of that could be achieved.  We don’t seek to conquer Gaza, we don’t seek to occupy Gaza, and we don’t seek to govern Gaza.  We will have to find a civilian govt that will be there but in the foreseeable future, we have to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.  So we have to have a credible force, that if necessary will enter Gaza and kill the killers because that is what will prevent the reemergence of a Hamas-like entity.  But what I expect to see is a rebuilt Gaza for the Gazans.”
