T. Belman. I am very happy to see Gateway Pundit supporting Israel to such an extent. It has a large following in the US and is very influential.

While US banks fail and the world teeters on the brink of WW III, the criminal Biden Regime is embarking on a series of regime change “color revolutions” around the world, seeking to destabilize conservative governments and install Washington-controlled puppets to do their bidding. The Gateway Pundit will expose these Open Society / National Endowment for Democracy led coup attempts, which seem to be the only thing the Blinken / Nuland / Sullivan Regime is any good at.
Today: Israel.

T. Belman. From day one I have supported compromising to get a consensus.. At the same time I recognized the the opposition is really not in favour of arriving at a consensus. They want to cause as much trouble as they can, They will not make meaningful concessions. Kohelet wants Herzog to convene negotiations based on their draft. Hell he couldn’t do it based on his own draft.
The Kohelet Policy Forum, a conservative thinktank which for years lobbied in favor of the changes to Israel’s judiciary now included in the Israeli government’s reform plan, is now calling for the judicial overhaul to be softened in the hope of building a broad consensus behind it.

MANAMA – Reports of the death of Israeli-Gulf ties as a result of the announcement Friday of a renewal of Saudi-Iranian relations are greatly exaggerated, Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain Eitan Na’eh indicated on Tuesday.
“I don’t know what the future will bring. I know what I’m told, and I know what I see,” he told journalists at press briefing at Start-Up Nation Central’s “Connect2Innovate” conference in Bahrain. “I am not yet ready to start eulogizing Israel-Gulf relations.”

For a variety of reasons, Russia has welcomed the Chinese mediated agreement announced March 11, 2023, between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The agreement provides for a resumption of diplomatic relations between the two states and the reopening of embassies and missions within two months from the signing of the agreement. The document also noted that Tehran and Riyadh reaffirm mutual respect for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as commitment to non-interference in each other’s internal affairs.
T. Belman. Telling the truth about Oslo would also show that Oslo does not put a freeze on settlement construction nor does it require the creation of a Palestinian state. Therefore the pressure by the US and the EU that we do nothing to prevent a TSS is in conflict with Oslo.

(March 13, 2023 / JNS) Media pundits spend a lot of time “explaining” to the rest of us why some political or social development just occurred. Last week, The New York Times presented what it claimed are the real reasons behind the controversy over Israeli judicial reform. The recent election results, which brought Israel a new government—and the judicial reform plan—are part of a “rightward drift” that goes back a number of years, according to the Times’ Jerusalem Bureau Chief Patrick Kingsley.
T. Belman. Ritter just commented on this. He believes that Georgia will not comply.
T. Belman. Since this Report, I have gotten a number of emails which support the idea that the Abraham Accords are not what they are cracked up to be especially regarding the UAE.

1. Summary: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued a very harshly worded press statement protesting a visit to the premises of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Israeli Minister of National Security. In the statement, UAE emphasized the need for “the comprehensive protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque and that stopping the serious and provocative violations therein, and to respect the role of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in caring for Sanctities and Waqf in accordance with international law and the existing historical situation.”
The facts are clear. This judicial reform is about strengthening Israeli democracy after former Chief Justice Barak’s judicial activist coup 30 years ago. After decades of a judicial dictatorship, Israel’s government is finally working to return checks and balances between the three branches of government to strengthen Israel’s democracy, not weaken it,.
T. Belman. Jafaj saw it coming but not exactly. Abed Amaala tweeted “Reviewing Iran’s behavior in the region within two months for the return of ambassadors and the normalization of diplomatic relations. This condition in the Saudi-Iranian reconciliation has no meaning on the ground of political reality. Will Iran, which occupies 4 Arab capitals, withdraw from it within two months? Iran’s militias are supposed to withdraw from Arab capitals first, and then establish diplomatic relations with them.“

1. Summary: JaFaJ has learned that Chinese President Xi Jinping has asked the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman (MBS) to consider reconciliation with Iran, noting that China could serve as a mediator. Nonetheless, MBS did not seem to be thrilled and requested evidence of Iran’s change in behavior. China has a lot of vested interest in Iran, with four undisclosed Chinese military locations in Iran, including a military base on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf and another one on the Island of Salkah. Salkah is situated near the United Arab Emirates. Hence, China’s recent warmth towards Arab Gulf states is a loss for the Iranian Government because enhanced ties between Beijing and Arab states may come at the expense of Iran’s growing ties with China.

One Sunday, two brothers, Hillel and Yagel Yaniv, young men with a bright future ahead of them were murdered while stuck in traffic in the Muslim village of Hawara in Israel. The locals celebrated their crime by singing, handing out candy and shooting off fireworks in the air.

T. Belman. Netanyahu didn’t go far enough. He and all government Ministers should stand in solidary with Smotrich and Ben Gvir and refuse to meet with American officials until the ban on meeting with Smotrich and Ben Gvir is lifted.

Three months have passed since the current government was established, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has yet to receive an invitation to the White House to meet with U.S. President Joe Biden.
On Tuesday, after receiving the requests of several government ministers to travel to the United States, Netanyahu allegedly issued a response clarifying that they were not to make the trip until he himself has received an official invitation.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who is currently on a visit to the United States, responded on Tuesday evening to opposition leader Yair Lapid, who called Smotrich’s visit to the US “embarrassing and horrifying”.
“In the pages of the history of the State of Israel, you will only be remembered as one who did everything to lead us into a civil war. You also tried to recruit American Jews for your BDS campaign against the State of Israel. We will not allow you to succeed. We will mend the fractures, heal and unite, we will fix what needs fixing in our beloved country, and we will leave you disgruntled to shout from the opposition for many years,” Smotrich responded.

A few weeks after Biden’s brilliant move, Russia invaded Ukraine and proceeded to use its gas supply as leverage against Europe (which, by the way, Trump had warned about). Europe’s energy supply was in crisis and the new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz made a pilgrimage to Israel only days after taking office, to reach an agreement on the supply of energy from Israel to Europe.
T. Belman. This analysis is very informative but it leaves out the Palestinian question as a factor. Surely the Saudis and the Americans will demand the protection of the TSS i.e., no annexation of any parts of Area C and probably more.

Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer have recently held very important meetings with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and his team, with the participation of Deputy National Security Advisor Gil Reich and other senior representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Foreign Ministry, the Mossad, and the IDF. Despite the fact that the meeting was held during a tense period in Israel’s relations with the US, it carried utmost importance for the joint progress on some important issues. According to the joint statement that came out after the meeting, there is an understanding between the parties, although there are still disagreements regarding the required course of action and especially the pace.

The shocking announcement that China had brought together bitter rivals Shiite Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia to resume diplomatic relations in a deal negotiated in Beijing is a stunning defeat for America, threatening the basis of our Middle Eastern and world diplomatic power.

Iran and Saudi Arabia announce the resumption of diplomatic ties in Beijing
If, as it appears, Saudi Arabia is no longer a reliable ally that can be counted upon to keep the Armageddon-mongering mullahs in Iran at bay while warming up to Israel, then the entire power calculus of the Middle East is shattered.
