The war in Ukraine has exposed in its entirety the inefficiency of the Russian military machine, extremely bad management and destructive corruption in all echelons of power. What development of the event can be expected in this country, and how will this affect the Jews and Israel?

Russia – exhausted and drained of blood in the war – will probably face two scenarios, as it has happened more than once in the history of this country. The first option is a turmoil (‘smuta’), followed by an even more cruel and despotic regime. The second scenario is a direct transition to even more bloody tyranny. The results will be same.

It is unlikely that Qatar will be providing any additional assistance to Jordan because of its recent reconsolidation with Saudi Arabia and also Saudi Arabia’s normalization with Iran. These political developments have stripped the King of any significance that he has ever had as the “semi-official middleman” between all parties. In addition, the King’s recklessness and arrogant positions and attitudes has cost him friends in the region, especially with the Arab Gulf states who are conscious of their honour and dignity. Strapped for cash and profoundly disliked by his people, the King might face serious public protests and unrest by his subjects by the summer of this year, with no sign from any of his fellow Arab rulers being able or willing to help Abdullah avoid his fate.

T. Belman. If you look at the graph I have posted from the article, it is very hard to support the second amendment. The strongest argument in favour of keeping it is to enable the people to defend themselves from  government overreach. From my point of view, the only reason to support it is that the GOP depends on its supporters to win elections. Please tell me what you think.

Escalating terrorist and rocket attacks against Israel during Passover are only the first stages in the war of attrition being waged by the “Axis of Resistance” led by Iran.

Tehran’s “uniting the fronts” strategy was devised by the late Gen. Qassem Soleimani, former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force. The current round of fighting is only the first stage in Iran’s phased plan to destroy Israel.

The Axis of Resistance estimates that Israel’s judicial reform debate and its recent crises in relations with the United States have weakened the Jewish state. They believe that the Israel Defense Forces cannot fight simultaneously on several fronts while dealing with tens of thousands of rockets, precision missiles and drones launched across several borders, accompanied by a wave of terror in the West Bank.

The President pretends to be Catholic but clearly does not live by Catholic tenets.  He supports abortion up until the moment of birth.  This past week, he sent a cease-and-desist letter to the priests who have been ministering to Catholic patients at Walter Reed Hospital.  He intends to contract outside persons to provide Catholic ministry.  While VP, he supported the persecution of the Little Sisters of the Poor for refusing to provide abortion services to their employees. In short, he is about as Catholic and Christian as Nancy Pelosi, another faux Catholic, a classic elitist who has nothing but contempt for actual Catholics, actual Christians.

On Thursday, former Israeli major general and national security adviser Yaakov Amidror expressed concerns that war with Iran is becoming increasingly likely and that Israel should prepare to attack Iran’s nuclear capabilities without U.S. assistance.

During an interview with an Israeli radio station, the former general said, “We need to prepare for war. It’s possible that we will reach a point where we have to attack Iran even without American assistance.”
